After I accustom to this site, I no longer use other proxy where I have to do 2-3steps by myself. Though some of items can be costly but I buy it for convenience and easiness.
Other things I like about their service: cancel items if it's a duplicate or it a wrong purchase, request specific items, request a specific date to be ship and ems- due to my country incompetent service I really appreciate when I request ems and they use ems, otherwise I won't receive any of my parcels. Staffs are helpful, fast and proficient. Whenever I got an enquire, alway receive reply very fast. I really like how they treat the customers: I used to ask buying same books but with different store, or one time I realised I brought same books I got -> ask for exchange -> they exchange into different book for me. It rare to find any services that will do this much, I really appreciate it.
It can be a bit pricey, I could buy from source then use 3rd website, the price might be bit cheaper but it super tedious. If I buy from here, everything in one-go done, plus I'm ok with paying a bit more for better service. - by J Female / Australia Oct. 22, 2022

- The customer service is absolutely amazing! The website is so easy to use and the website design makes it so easy to find different doujin by circle/author etc. Everything always arrives very well packaged and I am excited to receive a small gift with my purchase whether it be clear sleeves for my doujin or a little souvenir from a series. I cannot recommend Otaku Republic enough - they make buying doujin risk and stress free. Thank-you <3

- I've only had good experiences with this shop. The doujin are always in excellent condition and very well protected during shipping. I really like the "request restock" service as sometimes you'll be lucky and get something back in stock. If you're a regular customer they will sometimes send a small gift like a keychain or clear sleeve protectors. Excellent service all around!

- The prices are quite high compared to other online stores, however the shipping is free so you know how much you are paying upfront. The customer service is quite good and they reply to questions are very fast. The handling time can be quite long but the items are in perfect condition, like new. Also there are rarer items available that cannot be found in other places. They also will include a free bonus gift which relates to the characters you bought, usually if you purchase more than one item, which is very nice.
