The service is impeccable, even better than stipulated: my item was sent through priority shipping despite not meeting the requirement, and faster than I was initially told (*it took a month and a half for this order to arrive home, but it was due to external factors, i. e. reduced flights). Besides, the extra goodies I receive with my orders always make my day!

I was a newbie when it comes to buying stuff from Japan, and this combined with current situation regarding covid-19, was not the best moment to give a try. But the customer service was very kind and helpful. They always respond fast and clear, and it's even enjoyable to talk. Prices may be too high, but considering how expensive shipping from Japan to Europe is, and after checking other similar services first, it looks like it's not that much. I wish some japanese artists were open to trade overseas, maybe even in the digital world. But since this is not happening right now, and some artists and releases are so much obsucure and unreachable, I can say Otaku Republic is a really valuable service for those who enjoy this "underground side" of Japan. I wish they get more successful with their business and then hopefully being able to give more and better offers to customers as well. I expect to buy more stuff again sooner or later.

I've bought 2 times in your shop being my 3rd order on the way and so far I've loved it: 1) the items came home in an excellent condition even if some of them are 2nd hand 2) I love that there are coupons sometimes to freely catch (like the one of Christmas that 7 dollar discount was heavenly) 3) quick to answer to re-stocking asks 4) free shipping is a blessing for my wallet although I have to say I'm a bit nervous because I only got Standard Free Shipping on my 3rd order (1st one exceeded 50 dollars so I got a free better shipping option and 2nd one I paid extra to get that same better shipping option) 5) the fact that you added on my 1st order free plastic folders for doujinshis (and there were a lot of them!) was a very nice touch 6) the packaging you do is very safe and I love that 7) your webpage is easy to browse 8) the fact that we don't have to create an account to buy at your store is good although I think maybe having that option would be nice for some cases 9) prices are fair 10) lastly the detail of getting our names in the letters for every shipping is cute Thanks for the good service!
