This is my first time ordering and I was pleasantly surprised that my 1st and 2nd order arrived quickly. I was expecting a huge parcel like when you order from other sites, but thankfully, the items were packaged at the appropriate size. Packing is simple, neat and thoughtful, you can see that the staffs took the extra care of arranging the doujins, with the thin ones sandwiched between the thicker doujins and having an extra cardboard cushioned inside apart from the card boards they placed on both sides of the stacked books. The trinkets that they gifted and messages that came with the purchases provided a sweet touch.
I am pretty particular about my books so I was still worried that the doujins I ordered will not be in a good condition even though I know I am purchasing used doujins that are published 5 -7 years ago. But, when I was received them, some were like brand new, there was no damage on the book's spine for the thick doujins, though there is 1 that I received with slight mild dew on it's white book jacket.
And if you have any request, Risa san would always respond to you quickly. Sometimes even when you send the request at odd hours, ( My country's and Japan's are just 1 hour apart)
All in all, great service and you can rest assure that you purchases are well handled.

- This is my third time ordering from OtakuRepublic and I am still very impressed and satisfied with the service of the team. One of my books had to be sent separately due to a small issue but the team kept me updated once I made my enquiry as to where it was. The usual thing I have about this site is just how expensive the books are compared to others and hopefully that gets a little more affordable eventually. Will definitely check back again when I can! P.S I adore that I still get gifts despite not being a first-time customer. It’s like loyalty points haha.

- I was so happy to find out about this site. They have a wide range of doujins and I was very surprised to find so many rarer pairings so accessible. Even though they were much more expensive than you'd find elsewhere the packaging and delivery were top-notch and the quality of the doujins looked like new despite them being 'Used'. The staff obviously take pride in their service and I could not be anymore pleased. Will definitely shop here for my rare pairings again. :)
