(*´･∀･) “Well, well well! This time has come this year too! Halloween Sweets Making Competition by Otaku Republic Members! This year, it might be a little harder with more participants than last year... but how are you feeling now, one of the participants, Boss?”

 

 

(  'ω') “I’ll make my sweets in a sportsmanlike way.”

 

 

(*´･∀･) “I really don’t know if making sweets is related with sportsmanship but thank you for a wonderful comment, anyway! Well, I’ll announce a rule for this competition!”

(  'ω') “Oops! I had to say it didn’t have to be sweets even though this competition is called a sweets making one...”

 

 

(*｀д´)σ=σ “It’s Happy Halloween today!!! Anything is okay as long as it’s related with the Halloween! The rule of this competition is ME! Halloween is JUSTICE! I’m starving now! Why don’t we check sweets that our participants made!!”

 

 

Entry No.1  (ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉAyami

 

 

(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Hello! It’s Ayami, one of Otaku Republic’s members and also a subordinate of Saori Senpai! I made some puddings last year but this year, I’ll try a little more harder one this year!”

 

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Wow! This is such an adorable Mikazuki Munechika... I mean a yummy looking pumpkin!!”

 

 

(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “First, I will smash this pumpkin and make it into a paste. Then mix it with rice-flour dumplings!!”

 

 

 

 

(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Then I’ll boil them and decorate them with whip cream, azuki (red beans) and kinako (roasted soy beans)....!!”

 

 

 

(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Pumplin Shiratama Parfait is completed!!!”

 

 

 

 

(人´∀｀) “Gyaaaaaa!! It looks delicious!!! This is the best sweets as the first entry!!!”

 

 

(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Actually, I even put some pound cake at the bottom of the class.... so it might be a little too much, you know....?”

 

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Nope! You’ve definitely improved since last year! Plus, Mikazuki Munechika was so cute! I think you’ll get a high score! Alright next, let’s check the next sweets!”

 

 

 

Entry No.2  (  'ω') Boss

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “........ Ahhh..... which part is related with Halloween?”

 

 

(  'ω')っ “Hehehe.... You see a cat and a coffin on top? Those are what are so special for the Halloween!!!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Oh, that was a coffin huh? I mean... maybe you should be watching Yuri!!! on ICE too much?????”

 

 

(  'ω') “Otaku Republic’s Boss is always the latest in fashion, okay? So I put some latest anime fashion in my sweets too!!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Okay, admitting that it was the latest anime but what you made is not the sweets.”

 

 

(  'ω')っ “... I thought you would say something like that! Here, look! This is the sweets for this year!!”

 

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Wowwwww!!!! This looks pretty delicious!!! Great job! This is our Boss, huh? So these are pumpkin pies related with Halloween, right?”

 

 

(  'ω') “Nope. Apple pies🍎.”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “So the sweets are not related with Halloween at all, huh... Oh well, since you made ‘sweets’, I think you’ll get a high score?! Okay, let’s check out the new challenger!”

 

 

Entry No.3 (^q^)　Mafuyu

 

 

 

(^q^) “Happy Halloween! What I made are these!!! Pumpkin Cookies!!! I put some pumpkins in cookie dough and made some fluffy cookies! I drew some faces with a chocolate pen at the end... how do you like them? I think I did great when it comes to decoration!!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “That’s for sure! You had a little different point from the previous two participants, which is great! They all look like Halloween and well done!!”

 

 

(  'ω') “Right. When it comes to the amount, nobody beats me, right?”

 

 

(*｀д´)σ=σ “Uh-uhhh, Boss!! There will be someone who tried to beat you with the amount!!”

 

 

Entry No.4  (ง `ω´)ง Yuki

 

 

(  'ω') “Oh, Yuki. Happy Halloween!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Boss, can you give our friends a little introduction about Yuki, please?”

(σロ-ロ) “Hello everyone. Thank you always for visiting Otaku Republic! It’s Singo, who always communicates with you all via email.”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “Shingo Senpai, what kind of food did you make for us this year?!”

 

 

 

(σロ-ロ) “Hehehe.... I made a cheesecake with Halloween decoration!!!”

 

 

 

(  'ω') “What..... whaaaat... Cheesecake?!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “The decoration on top is colorful and it looks delicious! What are those decorations made from?”

 

 

(σロ-ロ) “Ahhh... actually, those decorations are...”

(*˘︶˘*) “Everybody, Happy Halloween! It’s Ryo from Otaku Republic! I’ll make sweets, thinking about not only deliciousness but also a container!”

 

 

 

(*˘︶˘*) “All I need is a pumpkin!”

 

 

 

 

(*˘︶˘*) “And it’s done!!”

 

 

ΣΣ(ﾟДﾟ；) “Whaaaat!? Where are the pictures when you were making?!”

 

 

(*˘︶˘*) “I was so focused on cooking that I forgot to take any pictures...”

( ・＿・) “Hello, nice to meet you all. It’s Nal from Otaku Republic who direct the design of the website. My hobby is photography.”

 

 

(  'ω') “Wow, then the pictures you took must be beautiful, huh?!”

 

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “They all look so delicious only with those pictures.”

 

 

(  'ω') “Isn’t it unfair though??? We feel as if they might taste three time as delicious as what they actually taste only by looking at these pictures, you know?!!!”

 

 

( ・＿・) “I tried so hard on taking these pictures so that everything will look delicious.”

(  'ω') “Did you take all these pictures, cooking at the same time, Nal?”

 

 

( ・＿・) “Nope. My wife made everything and I was busy taking all these delicious-looking food pictures.”

(灬・ω・灬) “I’m sorry I’m late! It’s Junko from Otaku Republic, who is going to participate in this competition again! I always pack all your items with my heart so you all can receive the one safely!”

 

 

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “White chocolate, cheese and baumkuchen, huh....”

 

 

(灬・ω・灬) “Yes! Mix with cheese and baumkuchen and...”

 

 

(灬・ω・灬) “Mix them with melted white chocolate...”

(ﾟДﾟ;) “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Everything is so perfect here!!!!”

 

 

(  'ω') “It’s such a close match this year, isn’t it?!! What am I gonna do? Here comes my rival!!! I thought I should be a winner, who made Katsu🎃Don and apple pie!!!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “OMG... It’s quite hard to judge this year since everybody did pretty good jobs. Some worked on decoration, other worked on actually making sweets... All the works are different from each other and it was such an interesting Halloween, huh?!”

 

 

(  'ω') “Everybody is unexpectedly handy, huh? I enjoyed making sweets and looking at other people’s works too!”

 

 

(゜∇ ゜) “So... the winner this year is....”
