July 7th! When You Wish Upon a Star! A special article for Tanabata!

・+(*゜∀゜*)+・ “Everybodyyyy! Hello! I definitely love to be hot than to be cold! It’s Saori from Otaku Republic!

blog.livedoor.jp

(  'ω') “Hello everyone. I’d love the middle climate between being hot and cold since it’s more comfortable. I’m Otaku Republic’s Boss.”

paoking.blog92.fc2.com

ヽ(`д´;)/ Wwwwwwhat’s that! Is that your reaction!? You gotta just choose one out of the two..., you like to be hot or cold!? I don’t think you can get over this summer if you have that kind of half-way thinking!”

(  'ω') “Mmmm... But I love both to be hot in summer and to be cold in winter so it’s tough for me to choose only one. It’s always comfortable to be in the comfortable middle climate, which doesn’t apply to either of them, you know?”

( ´_ゝ`) “Hmmmm.... that’s for sure... Each season has its own attraction... We feel ice cream is so delicious especially in hot summer and we feel hot cocoa is delicious especially in cold winter, right? Now, I’ll appreciate summer when I eat ice cream and will also appreciate winter when I drink hot cocoa.

(  'ω') “Ahh... okay... (I don’t think deliciousness of ice cream and cocoa has anything to do with summer and winter though...) But for sure, each season has its own related and familiar thing. I think today’s article is one of the examples too.”

★★July 7th! When You Wish Upon a Star! A special article for Tanabata!★★

・+(*゜∀゜*)+・ “That’s true! What’s special for the first week of July? It’s “Tanabata” (the Star Festival)! We have a custom in which we write our wishes in a little piece of paper called ‘Tanzaku’ and decorate it to the bamboo leaves in Japan!”

mery.jp

(  'ω') “Yes, it’s so famous in Japan that we do this every year but... why did we start this custom in the first place?”

(・∀・) “Ahhh.... actually, I don’t know why.”

(  'ω') “I know, right? This custom actually isn’t really related to the original ‘Tanabata’ tale, huh?”

A tale about the Tanabata, which you can learn maybe?

Once upon a time, there were a girl called Orihime (織姫), who was good at weaving cloths and a boy called Hikoboshi(彦星), who was a cowboy.

(  'ω') “That picture is easy to understand for sure but stop using it.”

As soon as they met, they fell in love, even forgetting to work, and ended up enjoying their lives doing what they wanted to do. Seeing them having such a lazy life, the God was mad and sent each of them apart to each side of the river called ‘Amanogawa(天の川)”.

Being separated, they felt so sad. Seeing them missing with each other, the God felt sympathizing for them and allowed them to see with each other only one day of the year, July 7th.

Two of them appreciated what the God did for them and they finally started working hard. Yes, now they can only see with each other on Tanabata, which is July 7th.

(  'ω') “So it seems like July 7th is also the day when we can actually see the Amanogawa, shown in the story, which is made from the stars, huh?”

(・∀・) “Yeah... now I remember the story. My mother would tell me before that when it rains on Tanabata, ‘Orihime and Hikoboshi hide in the back of the clouds, being shy’.”

(  'ω') “There are various Tanabata events such as games going on in this season too! I bet there are many characters whose birthdays are that romantic too!”

m9っ`Д´) “So today! We will specialize in characters whose birthdays fall on such a romantic day, July 7th!!!”
