Boss(  'ω') “Hello everyone. Happy Halloweeeeen!!! It’s a lovely Halloween today… That means… It’s the day of our annual special event, Halloween Sweets Making Competition by Otaku Republic members!! I’m Otaku Republic’s Boss!!”

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Let me give you the rules! The contestants will make【FOOD】under the theme of Halloween. The one who makes the food that looks most delicious will win the championship!!”

 

Boss(  'ω') “Easy enough, huh? So you said the food… That means it doesn’t have to be the sweets, right? Oh by the way, I just bought some Halloween cakes that look so delicious. Can I join the competition with them?”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Wow. They sure look super delicious and cute too but… unfortunately, you cannot! Those who【make food on their own】can only join this competition… Oh, but I can help you eat them though. You don’t wanna waste them, right?”

 

Boss(  'ω') “Ahhh… excuse me..”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Alright, let’s get started now! C’mon, Otaku Republic members!!!! Give me that delicious Halloween food now!!”

 

 

Entry No.1 Contestant: Runa! Pumpkin Art Pudding!!

 

Runa ｖ(*´∀｀*)ｖ “Hello everyone! It’s Runa, a new member at Otaku Republic! This is my first time to join this Halloween sweet making competition… and I made a pudding, using pumpkin for my first try!!”

 

 

 

Runa ｖ(*´∀｀*)ｖ “It’s easy to make! Mix egg and pumpkin together to make a mixture of the pudding!”

 

 

 

 

Runa ｖ(*´∀｀*)ｖ “Then put the caramel sauce at the bottom just like the regular pudding and pour the mixture on top… After it gets harden, you can decorate what you like cutely with a choco-pen!”

 

 

 

 

Runa ｖ(*´∀｀*)ｖ “The flavor is a delicious pumpkin! You will also enjoy this lovely pumpkin art pudding just by looking at it!”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Awesome! It’s perfect in quality, quantity and appearance! Especially, she used a lot of pumpkin, which is my favorite Halloween food! She did very well!”

 

Boss(  'ω') “Your grading scale definitely includes your preference, huh? But it is a Halloween-like food, for sure! Great!!”

 

 

Entry No.2 Contestant: Mafuyu! Pumpkin Pie ~With Cute Anime Goods~!

 

Mafuyu(^q^)/:Hello guys at Otaku Republic! Long time no see~! It’s Mafuyu working at Goods Republic, where you can buy various Japanese items, mainly Anime Goods! We have a variety of Halloween goods here too! Check it out!

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Pie…? Maybe?”

 

Boss(  'ω') “It looks like well-burned and looks very delicious!”

 

Mafuyu(^q^)/:We have a lot more to come! I’m gonna serve it on a plate and do a Halloween-like decoration!

 

 

 

Mafuyu(^q^)/:Next, I cut the pie to a Jack-o’-lantern-shape and serve it with my treasure, UtaPri plush toys with it…
 

 

 

 

Mafuyu(^q^)/:If we decorate this picture with cute stamps, it will look more cute and delicious! Here we go! It’s Mafuyu’s special pumpkin sweets!

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Wowwww~!! Like it! It looks so delicious and so cute too…!! Adding a little bit of idea on decoration will make it fun, huh? Excellent!!”

 

 

Entry No.3 Contestant: Ayami! Ayami’s Special Halloween…?

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Hello, everyone! It’s Ayami! I’ve tried quite standard sweets for the last two years but… this year, I’ll try something different from other contestants this year!!”

 

 

 

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “So the key items this time are a round-shape ice tray and milk! You know what’s gonna be like already…?”

 

 

 

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Get the green food coloring ready….”

 

 

 

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Pour agar-like milk gently into there…”

 

 

 

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “Mix them together and it’s done!! Look! It’s the Halloween Eye-Shape Milk Jello!!”

 

Saori(((((((( ；ﾟДﾟ))))))) “Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!”

 

Ayami(ﾉ*'ω'*)ﾉ “If you secretly put these in the refrigerator, your family members will be super surprised and petrified with terror, for sure.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Amazing! The food with pumpkin is always Halloween-like but this kind of spooky food is also nice and Halloween-like, huh? Since it has a milk flavor, it should be delicious and moreover, we would be super surprised if we saw them in the refrigerator in the office too…!!”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “What’s more? They are a bite-size, so it’s easy to eat too! Very nice! … a little spooky though!!”

 

 

Entry No.4 Contestant: Seika! It’s a Royal Road! Seika’s Special Halloween Sweet Potatoes!

 

Seika o(ﾟ◇ﾟo） “Hello everyone! It’s Seika, one of the new members like Runa! I, too, joined this competition for the first time!!”

 

 

 

 

Seika o(ﾟ◇ﾟo） “The ingredients that I’m going to use this time are…. pumpkin (squash) and sweet potatoes, which have full of nutrition and deliciousness!”

 

 

 

 

Seika o(ﾟ◇ﾟo） “First, mix with these two and knead them well together with my all hearts…! Since I boiled them enough beforehand, they will easily become a paste!”

 

 

 

 

Seika o(ﾟ◇ﾟo） “Fill that into a little cutters and draw cute faces on top…”

 

 

 

 

Seika o(ﾟ◇ﾟo） “And bake them in the oven! They’re very standard for the Halloween sweets but are overwhelmingly delicious! The inside is soft and steaming! It’s full of natural deliciousness! It’s a Halloween special mix pie with pumpkin and sweet potatoes!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “You won.”

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Your favorite food is sweet potatoes, huh Saori…? But even if it’s not your favorite food, it’s very Halloween-like and cute-looking sweets! That brownish-burned part also looks delicious too! Very good!!”

 

Saori（　◜◡‾） “Hmmm… I’m totally at a loss~. They are all such delicious-looking Halloween food that I cannot judge just by looking at them~. Maybe we have to actually try them, huh? What a great competition! We can eat them to judge!”

 

Boss(  'ω') “I don’t even know if Saori is seriously trying to judge to decide who’s gonna be a champion… Maybe she just wants to eat what everybody made with their all hearts...? So everybody! It’s a lovely Halloween today! Get dressed or disguise for Halloween and go out for trick or treat! Or enjoy eating Halloween fancy sweets! Either way, have a great once-in-a-year Halloween!!”
