Since the very popular series even in the original work, Luxury Liner, became adapted into movie anime, I also went and saw the movie.

 

 

As I heard the rumor, it has full of contents and so much fun!!!

 

It has not only the action but also some elements of horror, and new characters also appeared.

 

On the other hand, I was so satisfied to be able to see some characters’ new parts, that I haven’t seen in anime so far.

This story takes place in England at the end of 19^th century.

 

When Ciel Phantomhive was 12, he became a lord of manor of a distinguished family, the Earl Phantomhive. He and his butler, Sebastian Michaelis, are trying to solve accidents driven around by Ciel’s past and fate in this story.

That’s why this strongest butler can do anything easily that human beings wouldn’t be able to do.

Since he has a dark past, he decided to have a master-servant relationship with Sebastian, the devil, for revenge.

This arrogant and calm character makes us feel that he is not adorable, but he has a cute attractive point that he loves sweets and cannot live without sweets in the afternoon tea time.

She is Ciel’s fiancé. This girl is very cheerful and bright as she as loves Ciel so much.

 

She is just a normal girl who loves any cute things, but actually she is superb at swordsmanship and has a strong idea like “I will protect Ciel in any ways”.

 

Although she shows how much she likes Ciel too much, she has a girlish part like “I don’t want to be hated by Ciel”, which is so cute.

He is a butler serving for the Burnett (the family of Ciel’s aunty). He is weak-hearted and worthless as he cannot even make good tea. His reality is a “Reaper”.

 

He loves good-looking guys and gets excited in front of his type of guys.

Especially, he loves Sebastian.

Besides the profession, he is also handling any information related to the hidden disposal of dead bodies and the information about the bodies themselves. Somehow, he is strange enough to request not the fee in cash but instead making him laugh at a supreme level.

 

His hobby is autopsy before putting dead bodies in coffins. He is strange without a doubt!

However, Ciel always feels it helpful that this undertaker provides information and advice.
