Kashuu is also the sword that was owned by Okita Soujii, who was a member of Shinsen-gumi. This sword was cheap since it was hard to use. He’s looking for someone who can love him, as a sword, from the bottom of his/her heart. He looks quiet but he changes completely when it comes to battle.

He is said to be genius at sword fighting technique and made a huge role as a member of Shinsen-gumi at late Edo Period... and also was a boy who died young of an illness. (Dying of an illness when 27 years old is a famous theory) He is one of the few people who was able to handle Kashuu Kiyomitsu and Yamato no Kami Yasusada, who were said to be hard to be treated as swords.”
