~A special number for Onsen (the hot spring)~

 

Mafuyu(^q^): Hi, our friends. It’s Mafuyu from Otaku Republic!

 

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): Hi, our friends. It’s Aoi from Otaku Republic!

 

Mafuyu(^q^): It’s September here in Japan. Comiket is over and it seems like an incredibly busy event rush is all gone, huh?

 

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): An incredibly busy event rush...? Was there any event other than the Comiket, though?

Mafuyu(^q^): Personally, there were full of events in August, such as my recommended Ichinose Tokiya’s birthday, a talk-event-show by the author of Yowamushi Pedal and Uta no Prince-sama’s exhibition, etc....!”

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): Whoa, that’s awesome! But that seems too much work for you, no?

 

Mafuyu(^q^): Exactly. The event itself is fun but I need a little more relaxing time, you know?

 

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): Here you go. Onsen (hot spring) is one of the ideas!!!

Mafuyu(^q^): Wow, that’s great! I was just thinking of actually going there since now Yowamushi Pedal is holding a collaborating event with Onsen.

 

 

So today! We’re having a special number for the Onsen!

 

Here is the stage: Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Odaiba, Tokyo!

 

 

Since the collaborating event has currently been taking place, some of the members of Yowamushi Pedal welcome us at the entrance, like this.

I’m so excited even before we get inside! (ﾟ∀三ﾟ三∀ﾟ)

After finishing with the reception... we change to Yukata (a Japanese traditional costume) since the concept of this place is Edo-era.

Huge panels with illustrations are set up inside.
Look! Everybody’s wearing Yukata as if they were actually in Onsen place! (੭ ˃̣̣̥ ω˂̣̣̥)੭ु⁾⁾

They are all so lovely(*´﹃｀*)

Other than this, there are full of collaborated events inside of the building! Let me introduce some of them to you guys!

Are you ready? Let’s go!

1. Let’s play games and get a Giveaway item!

 

 

Look what it’s like inside. Some stalls are set up, where we can enjoy playing games.

There are three kinds of games related with Yowamushi Pedal and here, we can get a giveaway item, according to the results you get.

For instance, they have a game where you can enjoy throwing the motif-bottles, which they use for the bicycle race, into the baskets,

 

a game where you can enjoy lifting a piece of paper that has each member of Yowamushi Pedal on, with a string tied to a handle and

 

　

 

a game where you can enjoy rolling the ball to the assigned palce, etc...!

 

Guess what? I was able to get the first place (a glass) at the last game in which I rolled the ball!

Since I have the same birthday as Midousuji-kun, I’m super happy!!!

 

2. Join the Stamp-Rally!

 

 

 

Stamps are set up here and there in the building.

 

 

 

If you collect all the stamps, you can get the giveaway present here again★

This is the ones that I got! A handkerchief and a little bag (Azuma-bukuro)!

 

 

 

The last time they had this kind of collaborating event, the giveaway present was a student ID. So I was surprised to see how gorgeous it became this time!

 

 

3. Buy the original goods!

There is a store that sells goods, whose motif is a Ryokan (a little hotel) “Toudouan”, which Toudou san owns in anime.

 

 

There are so many limited goods which we can only buy in this store.

Of course I bought the limited goods!

Midousuji-kun! So powerful!!!

 

 

4. Eat collaborated food!

 

 

There full of collaborated food menus with each character!

 

 

 

 

I ate Onoda-kun and Manami-kun’s food.
We can also get the post cards!

The postcard is sparkling and so cute! (灬╹ω╹灬)

 

After enjoying all the collaborating events...

all you can do is to enjoy Onsen!!!

There is also an Onsen called “Ashi-yu” where you can only put your feet in. I recommend this one too!

 

　

 

 

After the Onsen, we drink Coffee-Gyunyu! (a cold café-au-lait)

 

Since most of the Onsen places in Japan, they sell cold coffee gyunyu or cold gyunyu (milk), we have the image of “Sentou ( a little Onsen) /Onsen=Gyunyu”.

Especially around Showa 30 (1955), the number of Sento selling Coffee-Gyunyu, has been increased ever.

It’s said that they (makers of dairy products) started selling them since most households didn’t have refrigerators back then.

Cold milk after the Onsen is as delicious as the beer after work!!!
