I can't read kanji or hiragana yet, so I have always been hesitant about buying doujinshi. But, after seeing a sample on the artist's pixiv account, I fell in love with the art style, and with my sister's convincing argument "if you love the art why not?", I made my purchase.

No regrets! The art is even more beautiful than expected, the samples didn't do it justice! Both of the members of Kitakore - Kitakado Tomohisa and Korekuni Ryuji - are drawn in a beautiful style that fits their characters and the series they're from without question.

There are some touching and sweet stories, including one that follows the episode infamous among TomoRyu shippers 'BACK TO THE BABY', some exploring their relationship as children and even a very sad yet beautifully drawn story in which one of the pair has passed away. There are a couple of mature scenes, but they are drawn tastefully and the lead-up, even without understanding the text, appears just as sweet and tasteful as I would honestly hope. Their love for each other is clearly conveyed.

This came with a mini illustration book featuring cover art from the featured doujinshi as well as from novels. All of the art in this booklet is in full-colour and, once again, absolutely beautiful.

This is a purchase I will never regret, and when the day comes that I can read the text, I'm sure I will love it even more. For now, I will continue to fawn over the amazing artwork. This is a definite recommendation to TomoRyu shippers.

I have an account on Pixiv and I've been always wondering how would I purchase those beautifully drawn doujinshis until I found out about this website. I swear this is like the centralized site for all sorts of anime doujins and merchs. I've been eyeing the above doujin so I was happy they have it in their inventory after I eagerly searched it. All in all, the item arrived well-packaged(really thick bubble wraps), parcel was immediately processed/shipped. Love this site!!! I requested 2 shipments before and will definitely order again.

P.S.
I like how Otakurepublic keeps records of past transactions and mention it in the personalized letter. I internally squealed because of the freebie little Levi keychain I received in the 1st order. Hope the admins would giveaway freebies in the next transactions as well. :'p

If you're a huge fan of Pablo Uchida like me, then it's great to have this in your collection. If you only have a passing interest in his work, you might be disappointed to find that the vast majority of the book is just his work in print form with very little text. Even with the mention of "How to use Painter12" and "Brush Setting" as a feature on the front cover, those sections of the book are very brief, even the breakdowns of the paintings only consist of 2 or 3 paintings with 4 or 5 stages of each painting shown.

I've personally spent over a year trying to track this down at a reasonable price(normally it goes for over 100USD), and was only recently able to get it from Otaku Republic. The condition wasn't the greatest(the "Used" quality marker on this site doesn't tell you much), although that might have been from the horrible US Postal Service shoving it into my mailbox despite it being clearly marked "Do NOT Bend" on the back. However, I'm still happy I got it because I'll probably never see it for this price again, if I even find a copy online again at all.

This was a random buy for the cover (I love Yami Bakura pic here), and it was a nice surprise to see the little short stories/comics involving Diva/Aigami from DSOD. It's a lovely Doujinshi, I like the art and that it has a cute story with Ryou Bakura and Yami Bakura plus includes the other YGO characters! My only small complaint is the print is very light, I have to squint sometimes to see the images...but other than that it is funny and a good buy! Thank you!
