As you can probably tell by the cover image, this book is an AU where Akechi is a Shujin student. Anyways the summary of this book is that Akechi becomes Joker's roommate (who is called Ren Amamiya in this book.) Ren is still on that one year probation thingy and Akechi gets his metaverse powers from Ren instead of it being given to him by the big baddie. Ren gives Akechi a small birthday surprise and Akechi tells Ren that it feels like his birthday gift was obtaining a familial bond of brotherhood with Ren much to his disappointment. Ren quickly rejects the brotherly bond and asks what Akechi will do if he said he wanted to become lovers instead and confesses his feelings to Akechi who is unable to give Ren an answer. Akechi is hesitant to give Ren an answer as this is a first for him so he does not know what he should say/do although he comes to the conclusion that Ren's feelings for him must just be 'PURE.' I'll end the summary there.

This doujinaka has talent when it comes to *cough*PLOT*cough* and I'm not talking about actual plot. Like the hot steamy sweaty good stuff. The artwork is quite detailed and the PLOT is not short nor is it straight to the point (i.e. just straight up fuc'n.) You actually get really good build up for it. This doujinaka knows what they're good at and does it really well. I can really feel the UST coming off of Ren, it seems like he's about to explode whenever Akechi becomes 'assertive'. That's one of the things that feel refreshing about this doujin is that Akechi is quite assertive despite being the bottom. Also what I found cute is seeing Ren become flustered around Akechi.

I found myself enjoying the actual story more than I thought I would. Though this being a doujin with PLOT of course means that the story will feel rushed. This surprisingly turned out to be one of my favorites probably because it actually had a good end and was surprisingly more heartwarming that I had expected.

All in all if you want some hot action and/or just some short cute romance then this is a good doujin to get.

Geez, where to start..... Oh, yeah. Guess I'll start with the summary. Akechi didn't die in Shido's palace, but Akechi's mental and physical state seem to be deteriorating and Akira comes by the apartment where Akechi is kept at to check up on him. Akechi uses Akira's sympathy to get him to sleep with him and that's where I'm ending the summary.

I was already aware of the *cough*Shido X Akechi*cough* elements and knew what it was, yet I was still naive enough to get this because I was hopeful that there may have been a good end, but nope... I'm a fuc'n idiot. However I guess this is an important learning experience for me. Despite knowing some Japanese, I didn't bother to actually properly read the summary/story/warning hints on Pixiv. So this is all my lazy self's fault.

I'm giving it a 5 star rating base on the 'intent' of the doujinshi which is to inflict as much pain and suffering on to me as much as it can and boy did I suffer...

If I were to describe the experience of this doujin. I'd say, it takes you on a ride where you start noticing that things seem a little messed up and then it crescendos really fast into one big fuc-ery and BAM when you think it couldn't get any worse... it gets worse.

This doujinshi was rather done really well. The artwork, the way the panels and the flow of the story really set the tone. Akechi was drawn pretty well, to where I see madness in his eyes and his loneliness and how fragile he seemed..... though I should take points off because anybody nude in nothing but a unbottomed shirt looking like some druggie is an common 'fragile' image. Akira was also done pretty well, you can see the suspicion in his eyes and the amount of rage in him when he gets angry. The story message/emotion was conveyed despite there being IMO light linework. So I'd consider it a high quality doujin, but definitely not for the light-hearted.

This is an Anthology of the ShuAke pairing and this anthology has a theme which is ....... you guess it, about Akechi's nipples.

That pretty much tells you this is just an Ero-doujin where random excuses are made to have Joker fool around with Akechi's nipples. Although in some of the stories, Joker does more than touch Akechi's nipples. Anthologies are always a great buy when you're new to the fandom as it lets you get a gauge on what kind of stories the doujinakas shell out so you'll get a feeling for which one's works you'll like more. So far this is the only anthology I'm aware of as of the date of this review. You can tell which doujinaka is more plot-centric VS more porn-centric because of their artstyle, or by the content they have.

I highly recommended this doujin for beginner ShuAke fans who want something smutty to wash down the depression that is Akechi's 'supposed' death.

I love the artist Kirisame, and this one features Ryou somehow turning into a female (it jokes about how he just woke up and POOF)! So Yami Bakura and Thief King Bakura have some fun, with smexy scenes and a hilarious ending! Very nice, thank you!

I love Yuhaku. It's full of great characters and cute little stories. Some are better than others, some more believable than others. But they're all very quality -- especially Kuwabara and Yusuke, which made me melt! This comic is essentially short stories where you, the reader, go on dates with the characters. It's very cute. Genkai plays video games with you, Kuwabara helps you rescue kittens, Yomi takes you on a picnic to a family part with Shura. Super cute <3

Very high-quality edition, elegant from the inside out. As always, lovely art, from the great mangaka of Haru wo Daite Ita, I love you is too Heavy, When a Man Loves a Man, among MANY others.
The First story is as sweet as can be, no NSFW content and a lot of family-friendly humor (just ignore one or two of Kato's comments).
A lot of chibi action in between stories, which makes up for a bit of an awkward start for the second part XDD
The second story is VERY NSFW, careful where you read it, this is Youka Nitta after all! It is a continuation of 'Loop', so maybe getting the two of them together is your best option. Once again, there is a slight change in the extra character(s), as opposed to the manga version (where this was originally published). A great buy, no regrets!

Some changes from when it was originally published one the manga, mostly on the extra character(s). Quite a bit much of publicity in the end (4ish pages), especially for a doujin this small.
Still very good, a wonderful purchase and addition to my collection. The action continues in the second half of spiral, so I highly recommend to get the two together (which I did by accident and was glad!)

I got this one on a whim, merely because of the cover.
Naturally, there were no expectations about it. SO, although it is true that the art is VERY hard to get into, the whole doujin makes up, by being heavy on intense (INTENSE) scenes, with VERY GOOD movement and WOW the expressions!
All in all, if you can get past some peculiar art style, you're in for a tasty surprise!

Really cute! Mine came with an extra postcard-sized print inside. Also, there is a fun peculiarity to this doujin. There are two stories in one book, which you need to turn around, then upside down to read the second, after you finish the first (so that the direction is always the Japanese reading sense).
Also, personal opinion, the art is better inside, than the cover.
