Speaking of "Cyborg 009", it is a SF comic drawn by Ishinomori Shotaro. It is a very popular work which has been animated many times. In addition, its total circulation reached 10 million in October 2012, with such a big name that most of the people know it. The high point of "Cyborg 009" is that unique cyborgs play active roles. Each of nine cyborgs has its own special ability such as supernatural power, flying, enemy-search, total body arm, superhuman strength, flame radiation, transformation, deep-sea search and accelerator.
What is so good is hero, Jo Shimamura, of Cyborg 009. Jo is the cyborg which completes most higgly among 9. By acceleration device which is special ability, he can move by acceleration mach 5 at maximum. The craziness of enemy caused by acceleration device of Jo is so good and it makes me feel refreshed.
His attractiveness is not only this. His profile we can see sometimes impresses me much. His expression where his one eye is hidden by brown hair at front. I was instantly impressed by his eye, which is kind of worrisome. It must be a simple picture, but hair style and parts of face, shape and position of eye in particlular, are perfect. Shotaro Ishimori who can depicts a picture to move people's mind must be a genius. I am so sad that he passed away before last story of the series "Cyborg 009" was depicted.
The fact that this has not been completed does not damage attractiveness of the work at all, and it is a work that people can enjoy both by animation and comic book. As of January 2014, "Cyborg 009" that we are excited about so much was released as "009 RE:CYBORG"(newest) directed by director, Kenji Kamiyama, in October 2012. The action of 00 number Cyborg was completed more stylishly by current filming technology , and it is fantastic.
