Fullmetal Alchemist is a fantasy anime which depicts the world where alchemy exists.
Edward and Alphonse Elric lost their mother by death. They tried to make their mother alchemically by violating the rule "not to make human alchemically". It failed and older brother lost his right arm and left leg and his younger brother lost his body and lives as an armor of his soul.
This is the story that this brothers search "Philosopher's stone" to return to their old shape by having various meetings and partings.
This anime and comic were concluded. If I am asked "Which comic has the best last episode?", I answer this is the one. Not only the last episode but I also have a lot of good memories such as a bond of brotherhood, how Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye feel about soldier and war and conflict of Winry Rockbell who waits the brothers.
This anime is about "life and death", "clone and definition of human" and subjects relating to life. Sometimes, somebody of the characters loses one's life. Even though this anime deals with serious subjects, this comic became a big hit selling 61 million copies and many people still read them.
I usually introduce my favorite character, but I cannot chose one for this comic since I have strong feelings for all characters.
Each character has strong individuality and their way of life is really cool. I really recommend this comic! The story is emotional, characters are cool and last episode is great without any question!!
