Ayase is Kirino’s real friend. Like Kirino, she is a model of a magazine for teenagers. She almost admires Kirino because Kirino helped her when she was not accustomed to model work, and Kirino helps her study. She is apt to think over too much and sometimes misunderstand extremely.
She has stereotype that maniacs are a kind of people that are almost criminals and have dirty and dreadful hobbies because of her family environment. So, when she noticed Kirino is a maniac, they almost broke off, but, thanks to Kyosuke’s persuasion, she affirmed Kirino’s hobby. As a result, she failed in love for Kyosuke and their relation got strange. When he lived alone, she positively made dinners and took care of him, after that, said to him that she loved him. Kyosuke did not answer the proposal, though.
As you can see, she has many episodes. Personally speaking, I did not think that she related to the story to such extent at first. As she is one of the candidates of Kyosuke’s wife, her hidden movement is great, isn’t it? Certainly, when asked about the type of women of his favor, he answered “Ayase” or “lovely my angel, Ayase” without hesitation, so I anticipated that… It is regretful. But I like Kuroneko! I expect Kuroneko’s happy ending!
The most popular coterie magazine is of the coupling with Kirino, I think. It is because they are in good relation in the original story. A kind of rule that bad relation in original anime is often popular in such magazines is still strong, so the coupling with Kyosuke is also popular.
