Binan High School is in Binan city, in Japan. Kinugawa Atsushi and Yufuin En are members of “Earth Defense Club”, which doesn’t do anything.
One day when Atsushi and En were taking sentou (public bath), a pink animal (Wombat) appears from the sky.
“I want to protect this planet… Please help me” The two are astonished by the Wombat who started to talk in human language, telling he wants to protect the Earth with love!
Hakone Yumoto, a son of public bath came here.
Yumoto is a boy who loves fluffy things. As soon as he finds fluffy Wombat, he runs after him saying “let me fluff yoooou”.
The next day of the noisy day, when the boys went to school as usual, there was Wombat again.
And Atsushi, En, other members Naruko Io, Zaou Ryū and Yumoto who ran after Wombat were forced to have a bracelet, and ordered to protect the Earth.
What will happen to those five, who transformed into heir of love “battle lovers”, with the brilliant light from the bracelet…?
Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love! is a new-style animation, a mixture of life-style animation and transformation hero animation!
The story mainly runs like this; the 5 members of Earth Defense Club beats monsters and save the Earth.
When I saw this for the first time, it was so funny I laughed until by stomach hurts.
At the first series of the animation, at the first story, as soon as they received bracelet from Wombat, an enemy (chikuwabu) came and the battle started…
(Chikuwabu= a breadlike food made of wheat, water and salt, mixed, formed and boiled. It is a traditional Japanese food. It is often an ingredient of oden.

Earth Defense Club members, who were not looking forward at all, suddenly says cool lines and make positions to transform…
The members gaily transform just like in girls’ animations…
You will laugh for sure because the conversations among personalities are funny.
And the members are unique and attractive!
I especially like Io-kun. He loves money and he is a unique boy whose hobby is FX (foreign exchange)
In the animation, a member of the student council said him he can “earn”, and he became accountant of student council. Because of it, Earth Defense Club’s members were not enough and were about to disband.
As you can see, he is found of money, but when his friend was about to be attacked by a monster, he came in front of the monster and transforms. I knew he was kind and thinks about his friend, and wanted to cheer him up, who is tsundere.
