Cute Greed x Ling anthology

This is the second anthology I've ever bought, the first of which was actually an "official" doujinshi licensed by a company, so I don't have a great deal of experience with them.

However, I did really like it, and am quite happy with my purchase. There was great variety in art styles and content of the comics (serious, funny, moe, etc), and there were also short written stories in between comics, which I wish I had the skill to read! I wasn't absolutely in love with every comic, but that's what you get with an anthology, and as I mention below, that's part of the beauty, and I assume that's what you get with most anthologies.

More on a general note, I think anthologies like this are great, because you get such variety that you're bound to love some of it and enjoy other stories you may not have decided to buy on their own, and having a bit of everything to sample is nice. Some artists featured have other published Greed x Ling comics (e.g. Katou/Hyena), or have art sites with FMA art, and an anthology is a great way to discover artists who are dedicated to characters you love.
Also, you get a great deal. LOTS of content for the price. You might spend $20 on a comic of 24 pages, or you could spend a little more and get an anthology with 8 stories of about the same length. It's a good deal.

If you're a GreedxLing fan, you definitely need this, but you probably already know that. If you're a doujinshi collector or an FMA fan, and you're not SUPER into them specifically, maybe think it over. On one hand, it's an anthology, and it's a great deal, but on the other, it's not an absolutely MUST-HAVE 5-star doujinshi for all serious fans.
