Final Impact, this time the focus is on Rei by Dedman Wonderland Jan. 10, 2015: Before there was ReTake, there was Peppy Angel. The story runs roughly parallel with the main series, and rarely changes much, but the focus is different. This is THE Asuka-Shinji (in that order) story. Slightly dysfunctional, always intense, occasionally sweet, and only Hentai/NSFW every couple-three issues.
Art-wise, a little rough (the character designs are a bit stiff), but very competent story-telling, writing and dialog. The volumes are just beautiful, full magazine size with Pastel covers.
