A re-telling of the last two episodes and the movie. Just as messed-up, this time it's Asuka's turn on the couch

Before there was ReTake, there was Peppy Angel. The story runs roughly parallel with the main series, and rarely changes much, but the focus is different. This is THE Asuka-Shinji (in that order) story. Slightly dysfunctional, always intense, occasionally sweet, and only Hentai/NSFW every couple-three issues.
Art-wise, a little rough (the character designs are a bit stiff), but very competent story-telling, writing and dialog. The volumes are just beautiful, full magazine size with Pastel covers.
