Smutty and Fluffy High School Romance.

As you can probably tell by the cover image, this book is an AU where Akechi is a Shujin student. Anyways the summary of this book is that Akechi becomes Joker's roommate (who is called Ren Amamiya in this book.) Ren is still on that one year probation thingy and Akechi gets his metaverse powers from Ren instead of it being given to him by the big baddie. Ren gives Akechi a small birthday surprise and Akechi tells Ren that it feels like his birthday gift was obtaining a familial bond of brotherhood with Ren much to his disappointment. Ren quickly rejects the brotherly bond and asks what Akechi will do if he said he wanted to become lovers instead and confesses his feelings to Akechi who is unable to give Ren an answer. Akechi is hesitant to give Ren an answer as this is a first for him so he does not know what he should say/do although he comes to the conclusion that Ren's feelings for him must just be 'PURE.' I'll end the summary there.

This doujinaka has talent when it comes to *cough*PLOT*cough* and I'm not talking about actual plot. Like the hot steamy sweaty good stuff. The artwork is quite detailed and the PLOT is not short nor is it straight to the point (i.e. just straight up fuc'n.) You actually get really good build up for it. This doujinaka knows what they're good at and does it really well. I can really feel the UST coming off of Ren, it seems like he's about to explode whenever Akechi becomes 'assertive'. That's one of the things that feel refreshing about this doujin is that Akechi is quite assertive despite being the bottom. Also what I found cute is seeing Ren become flustered around Akechi.

I found myself enjoying the actual story more than I thought I would. Though this being a doujin with PLOT of course means that the story will feel rushed. This surprisingly turned out to be one of my favorites probably because it actually had a good end and was surprisingly more heartwarming that I had expected.

All in all if you want some hot action and/or just some short cute romance then this is a good doujin to get.
