Aoi( ´_ゝ`): Hi, our friends. It’s Aoi from Otaku Republic!

Mafuyu(;´q`): Hi, our friends. It’s Mafuyu from Otaku Republic…

( ´_ゝ`): Are you a bit tired??

(^q^): It’s been hot recently... I get so much sweat when I’m outside for even just a little time, you know....?

( ´_ゝ`): I thought you were good at ‘hot’ since you visited Comiket90 for three days, Mafuyu.

(^q^): Comiket is something totally different! That place is full of dreams and hopes! There’s no such thing as being hot or cold there!

( ´_ゝ`): Wow, that’s what it is~

(^q^): Yes, it is. That’s why I’m not good at ‘hot’ anytime except when we have Comiket...Hot and even melting... Maybe I should listen to music for a change...

( ´_ゝ`): How’s classical music? According to the music therapy, there are some music that can help us with getting rid of tiredness or improving the power of concentration.

(^q^): I’m not interested in classical music!

( ꒪꒫꒪ ): Wow... it sounds like you really aren’t...

(^q^): I have the image of sophisticated music. Plus, I really don’t know what music I should listen to, either.

( ;∀;): I’ll tell you what. So many classical music concerts take place every week here and there in Japan. Also, each college and city has at least one orchestra group! I was one of them before! But it seems like only some maniac people enjoy it...

(^q^): I hope we can enjoy it more casually, you know?

( ´_ゝ`): Or maybe we’re just not conscious about it since so many classical music are actually played as TV commercials or BGM of anime

(^q^): Got it~~

( ´_ゝ`): Plus, TIGER & BUNNY, Dragon Quest and Kan Colle... some anime have their original music concerts during the play, in which orchestra groups perform. I really want you to go to see a live orchestra. It doesn’t have to be classical music, you know?!

(´~`): Mmm... (She’s a little persistent...)

( ´_ゝ`): All the princes in UtaPri are good playing various musical instruments such as violin or viola, right?! That means you might be able to get closer to those princes, by enjoying classical music, you know?!

(^q^): Wow... she’s still pushing...!!

( ´_ゝ`): August is a month of the year, when we have less classical music concerts compared to other months. Then when the fall comes, we’ll have more. So until then, let’s prepare for classical music!

Nodame Cantabile

The original manga came with 25 volumes in total and TV anime came with 45 episodes in total with three Seasons (Nodame Cantabile, Pari-hen (Paris Chapter) and Finale).

Speaking of Classical Music Manga, this is it! It’s too funny that it makes our sides ache! The story develops through music, starting the scene in which a clever, handsome and confident conductor, Chiaki Shinichi met a genius, goofy and strange girl, Noda Megumi (Nodame) , and Chiaki would be at the mercy of Nodame. All the characters are so unique and even serious ones look funny. They are all very attractive buddies together full of love, laughter and of course, music.

Since busy lives by music college students and orchestra group members and Nodame and Chiaki seriously facing music, struggling their worries, are depicted, I’m sure you will feel closer to classical music.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso Your Lie in April

http://www.lisani.jp/op-ed/2014autumn/id106781

The original manga came with 11 volumes in total and TV anime came with 22 episodes in total.

A genius boy, Arima Kōsei, who used to be called ‘Human Metronome’ from his super accurate performance, went away from any competitions, not being able to hear the sound of piano, due to his mother’s death.

Kōsei, who turned to 14 years old, came to be able to see the world colorful, which used to be monotone since his mother’s death after he saw an overwhelming and unique performance by a violinist, Miyazono Kaori...

This anime is so powerful especially Kōsei, Kaori and their rivals’ performances!!! I bet you all will be moved by how 14-year-old boys and girls grow together, overcoming their struggles and how sorrowful their first loves and triangular love affairs are, and its beautiful depictions!

Kiniro no Corda La Corda D'Oro

http://6109.jp/corda_blog/?blog=19257

The original is Otome Game. Manga came with 17 volumes in total and anime came with two Seasons(Primo Passo and Secondo Passo).

Seisou Gakuin High School has Music Course and General Course. Hino Kahoko, who attends the General Course, was living her life without music but she ended up participating in a music competition at school after a music fairy, Lili, gave her a magic violin... Through the competition, she gradually gets closer to other participants. This story is about how everybody’s thoughts turn into music through their practice, growth and loving each other. Love-related parts are modest, compared to other Otome games, so I want people who really don’t like Otome game to play it as well! We are able to focus on making great friendship with other girls or competitions without loving others people.

All the songs in the game are classical music and are arranged short, so we can listen to them just casually and it’s the best for the classical music beginners too!♪

( ´_ゝ`): How did you like it all? Have you got into anything?

(^q^): Yep! I wanna play Kiniro no Corda!

( ´_ゝ`): Woohoo! There are more manga or anime whose materials are classical music! It’s one of the attractions that we encounter so many kinds of music only by watching one manga, anime or game. Please check it out since those who don’t even like music can enjoy it too!
