Aoi( ´_ゝ`): ??? Police Officer??? Why? Because you’ve been into Conan recently?

Mafuyu(^q^): Haha... Kidding, right... Guess what?Today, June 17th, is a “Police Officer’s Day”! 

According to my research, it derives of the day, back in June 17th, 1874, when all the policeman institution in Japan started and the new occupation called “police officer” was born at the same time.

Mafuyu(^q^): Speaking of anime that has police officers in.... it’s Conan!
So for today’s article, I’ll share a little about my favorite Meitantei Conan,whose 20th movie, “The Darkest Nightmare”, is now being televised!

 

 

 

The movie currently shown, “The Darkest Nightmare”!

 

This movie has full of characters such as black organizations, FBI and security police! It’s like a festival, commemorating its 20th movie!

 

Of course, I went to watch it on the very first day when it was shown and it was so exciting, with both actions! and human relationship! o(^O^*=*^O^)o

The movie itself was awesome like a festival, but that was not it!

 

So many collaboration café or events have been taken place all around Japan at the same time♪

 

This video is from one of the exhibitions from a collaboration event now taken place in Tokyo Sky Tree and look!!!

Since it was made with wires, it can be seen as Edogawa Conan or Mouri Ran, depending on each angle.

What’s more? They sell éclair with the image of medicine, “APTX4869” whose shapes are infantilized-version of Kudou Shinichi or Haibara Ai in the collaboration café. (((((( ;ﾟДﾟ)))))

It’s Akai Shuichi who played an active role in the movie “The Darkest Nightmare” which is currently shown.

 

Just like Amuro-San, he is

 

a member of Black Organization
But he’s a graduate student.

 

With all these sides, his primary job is FBI agent! Plus, he is a distinguished sniper!

 

Mmm? You wonder why Amuro-San can’t get along with Akai-San, don’t you?!

 

In fact, when they both belonged to Black Organization, Amuro-San misunderstood Akai-San over a trouble by another member, Scotch...

But! This misunderstanding was all about Akai-San’s kindness...
He took the action because he cared about Scotch and Amuro-San so that Amuro-San will not get hurt... (´；д；｀)

 

Akai-San is too kind... (´；д；｀) (´；д；｀)

 

But the misunderstanding wasn’t removed that easy and Amuro-San started to see Akai-San as an enemy, by calling Akai-San “Akai”, without putting “San” (a polite way of calling people, especially to people senior to you).

 

When is this misunderstanding going to be removed...!? Can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next!

This is 20th movie of Conan, and Megure Keibu has appeared in every movie so far. He’s the one(ﾉ*ﾟ▽ﾟ)ﾉ
“You’re stupid!” Since he often screams at people, you might have a scary image about him...

But! On the contrary of that image, he loves his wife!
The reason why he always wears a hat is to hide a scar on the head, which he injured when he first met his wife, Midori-San. He just feels embarrassed when he has to talk about how he met his wife if anybody asks him!

Guess what? He first appeared in the story as a suspect! He has even been treated as a criminal by Mouri Kogorou. (￣▽￣;)

 

When he was an elementary school student, he saved a girl who was threatened by a shoplifter at a book store. She gave him coca cola with Sakura flowers which were made from a package of a straw in return.

Then she said, “Sakura is a mark that all the police officers put on the uniforms. It’s a strong, kind flower of justice.”

But even after she became a police officer, one of her colleagues, Detective Matsuda, died, getting involved with an accident...

 

She is such a strong woman who keeps dealing with accidents that occur every day with quick-wittedness and excellent use of shooting guns and high battle strength, overcoming such tragedies.

We often see scenes where he’s depressed after he is scolded by Megure Keibu in the anime, so we tend to think he is a little weak. But he is such a dependable person when something happens.

 

For instance, in anime, Detective Takagi stopped Detective Satou Miwako, who was going to kill a criminal, being out of control from her past. (｡･д･｡)

 

Also, when he became a hostage by mistake, he was so calm, trying to let police know where he was.

Mafuyu(^q^): That’s for sure. Guess what? We even have “Detectives’ love story series at the police office” in Conan Series too! I watched some love stories that I shared with you today in anime too.

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): I see. That’s why it has a strong element for love story, not only a mystery. I think I’m gonna watch it since they look interesting!
