‘The best race’ with the best rival, Toudou-Kun, at ‘the best stage’ He tries to settle their fate for three years, being encouraged by his members.

Yes, this scene..., in this scene, I really came to love him sooo... much... (´；ω；`)

And I cried. Even though he always thinks of himself as a ‘clumsy’ boy, he has always supported his team and their minds more than anybody.

‘Because I’m a senior to you guys..”, “ Because of my team”, “Because of our victory”...., he has always thought this way and sometimes acted cruelly.

This is the ‘last’ race for him to ‘settle’ with his rival who’s been urging together.

I think this is the very moment when he could shine (Makishima Yusuke) most.

I really love this scene. His thought of him devoting himself to his team; killing his dearest wish.

His impression when he challenges to a single combat with his rival, being released from the thought.

I cried both when I read the comics and the anime as well... (´；ω；`)

・His backstory was really sad, and I enjoyed his brief interaction with Onoda. ^^
・he's perfect
・He is a very interesting character! Before I knew him well, I didn't like him very much. Since I was so confused by him, I tried to learn more about him and I watched him closely when I read the manga, always anticipating his appearance. Which... accidentally lead to me liking the character the most. It was an accidental favorite!
・Midousuji is one of my favorites because I just love the faces he makes. Also his backstory was really good (and sad), and I just really enjoy him.
・midousuji is moe and pure
・I just love the whole character!
・CUZ HE NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG ;A;
・He's well written!
・Because everyone else are zaku and kimo~!

・At first it was because he was so different from the other characters, so wild! Then I read/watched his backstory and completely fell in love. The fact that people write him off as this awful antagonist "just as bad as Dio from jojo" baffles me. I mean he's done mean things but not Dio bad!!!
・Midosuji's expressions are the absolute best~!He's super funny and cute~!!

・I chose midousuji because I really like characters like him. Even before I watched yowapeda I knew that I was gonna love him. His backstory made me love him even more and every time I see it I cry so many tears. If he wasn't on the list then it would be onoda because he's a Hard working sweet baby angel luv him five ever!Hime~
・I started watching Yowapedal after I watched the episodes in first season where Midousuji raced Shinkai. He has been my favorite character by far ever since. Every time he is on screen I get excited and cheer for him. I was so upset when he lost the final stage on the second day after his tooth broke. I felt so bad for him. He has overcome more than many other characters to become an amazing road racer. Even Fuku and Kinjo realized that he was truly strong and would beat them if they did not treat him as a serious threat. Shinkai could not pass on the left, Onada is an otaku, Imaizumi and Makishima are rich and awkward, they don't know real struggles like Midousuji Akira.

・Because of his past and his awkwardness and grossness xD I love his humane side, that's the best!

Even though he couldn’t get to 1^st place with the numbers voting for him, the number of the comments was 1^st place, leaving the next one far behind!

His charm is, as you know, his position of ‘villain’.

Most characters who appear in Yowamushi-Pedal challenge the competition with fair and square mind.

Except him..

He calmly eliminates the members whose records are slow, to win the race.

He tries to disturb other racers’ mind and pace, talking rudely and provoking again and again.

He searches for others’ weakness thoroughly and tries to expose them.

Especially the fate with Imaizumi-Kun is just terrible. He (Midousuji-Kun) even got 1^st place, telling Imaizumi-Kun a lie that his mother got in an accident, getting ahead of him during the race.

“I would never get slow just because my mom died.”

He has a deep attachment to the victory, doing whatever he could.

But at the same time, he is troublesome because he has malignity which ‘he tries to beat the weak, knowing he himself is strong’, not because ‘he tries to disturbs others, knowing he is the weak.’

That capability is high enough to have an even-race with ace racers who are in 12^th grade of other high schools, even though he is still in 10^th grade.

He gives up everything and challenges the real fight with his real power, once he finds out all the various tactics don’t work.

Honestly, I hated Midousuji-Kun. Though I mentioned that Makishima-San was a ‘bad person’ earlier, it’s beyond comparison.

To me, he was unfair, cunning and hard-to-forgive person. Especially the episode with Shinkai-San...

I just completely hated him when I read this.

I just cannot stop crying seeing him race toward the goal, even though his hands and feet are about to be torn apart.
