This story is recommended to those who likes to watch scenes of solving a riddle and mysteries *´∀`*) The original work of “DURARARA!!” is a novel published by Dengeki Bunko, but I started with the animation! What I found interesting at first is one of the characters, Mikado. He is quiet person who came up to Tokyo, hoping to make his debut in High School. But he is the most outstanding character, and also a key person for the beginning of story (even though he is NOT a main character（*＾ワ＾*）). At first sight, he is just a normal character, but as a matter of fact, he is a leader of street gang “Dollars”. He believes that people can be stronger by power of numbers. He fights over the matters with its power of numbers at Ikebukuro, the main setting of the story. He usually is quite a timid person, but changes completely once incident happen. His great charisma makes him very capable to lead the gangＯ(≧∇≦)Ｏ This gap makes me feel very excited many times.

Incidentally, the setting for “DURARARA!!” is clearly stated as Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and what’s more interesting, the author actually uses the name of real places and buildings in Ikebukuro in his novel! When its animation was broadcast on TV, “DURARARARA!!” ran projects in collaboration with Ikebukuro, and voice actors and actresses were invited to Ikebukuro for some photo shootings. The reality and two dimensions were merged by such events, and that makes this story more interesting. Personally, I did make a “pilgrimage to the Holy Land” several times at Ikebukuro(●´艸｀)ヾ

Moreover, it is very excited to watch the love story between headless rider Celty (a main girl character who is a kind of fairy with very attractive body!) and a doctor Shinra, who loves her since childhood. Celty is headless, so she cannot speak a word. She talks to Shinra using PDA (something like mobile phone). Shinra is so into Celty even though he never had a conversation with her. On the other hand, Celty is throbbing with his sweet and loving words (But you cannot see it at first sight because she cannot talk! lol). The scene that Shinra tells Celty that she is very beautiful even though she does not have a face… you would fall unconscious for both animation and novel because… they are too cute v(*'-^*)ゞ・'ﾟ☆ﾌﾞｲ

On an individual basis, I recommend the battle scene between Izaya and Shizuo that going on for 10 years since they were in High School. First, both of them are handsome. Second, they both say to each other that “I am the one to kill you!” and that makes me very excited (●´艸｀)ヾ

There are more characters that I would like to introduce. All the characters are connected to each other somehow, and you may discover it as story goes on, such as… “●● and ×× are actually classmates!” and “●● and ×× are friends, but they don’t realize they are actually enemies!”. I strongly recommend you to read a novel or watch the animation to find out these connections between the characters(ｏ´∀｀ｏ)
