Depressingly Lovely

Summary: In the aftermath of the Red King's death. Fushimi picks up a depressed Yata from the streets and takes him to his apartment. He comes back after work not expecting Yata to still be there, but he finds that Yata is still there and did not move an inch from where he left him.

I was expecting this book to end on a happier note, but I should think again I guess. I still love it. I didn't understand the meaning of the scissors in the cover until the last few pages. The feelings of loneliness and longing were greatly portrayed in this book. Especially in the end, the way the paneling was done in the last pages was brilliant in showing what Fushimi's sad revelation was. The book doesn't exactly explain what it is, so it's kind of left to the reader to interpret.

Overall: A lovely book that can beautifully break your heart..... if you're okay with depressing stories like these.
