This is good, too good....

I bought the illustration book based off of the sample pictures. I loved the illustrations of the characters drenched in blood from battles. I am so happy the artist gave a glimpse into the not so pretty side of the Hypnosismic story. I find the dark side of things like this to be beautiful. There is some truth/insight/honesty one can only find in the darkness.

For you sweet light creatures, here are a few things I found fascinating/beautiful:

Samatoki (when pictured alone with Doc) looks so realistic it is almost unreal. I felt pulled into the stillness of the illustration itself. I am not sure if this makes sense so let's just say I was really taken by it in a way only excellent art can do.

I have reviewed other Hypnosismic illustration books I have purchased here. This illustration book contains the best illustration of Doppo I have ever seen. He looks so handsome, so very male but still has all the pain simmering below the surface. I was surprised by how alluring this illustration was.

Ramuda's personality/image was captured spot on........his dark side smothered in a candy coated shell.

My favorite pages of the illustration book are the individual divisions featuring each one's members. Ichiro, Samatoki, and Hifumi are drawn so beautifully. If you are a fan of one or all three (only Samatoki for me), please buy this book. I sometimes buy doujinshi just for the cover, one page or even for one illustrated panel. If you do that too, you will find it worthwhile to buy this illustration book. I love it. The artwork flows well and comes together perfectly. Support this amazing artist and buy it to see for yourself.
