Please judge a doujinshi by it's cover!!!!!

I always start my reviews by sharing I am learning to read, write, and speak Japanese. Doing so has enriched my life beyond words....so please keep this in mind as my reviews are mainly based on the illustrations, parts I am able to translate, and parts where words are NOT necessary (my favorites!).

I cannot lie, I was so drawn to the cover I ordered it. I am so glad I did.

When it arrived, I opened it and a sticker with a portion of the cover (both faces and Hijikata pulling off Gintoki's clothing) was inside. It was such a delicious surprise.

If you adore hot, steamy sex scenes, read on.....the illustrations are amazing. Pages 10 and 11 contain pictures and dialogue that will make you squeal and die from a nosebleed!!! I swear I looked at pages 10 and 11 for five minutes before turning the page.

Hijikata's face has been drawn to perfection. The intense fire in his eyes comes through. You can feel the hunger they have for one another and the desire to satisfy it.

I love doujinshi that is able to bring you into the story and make you feel the heat between the couple. This doujinshi does exactly that. If you love these two as a couple, you will love this!

Also, the precious people at Otaku Republic package everything with great care. My purchases have always arrived in perfect condition. You can tell they love their job.
