Scratches the Beta Itch Nicely!

I purchased this with a few other books, so I'll address them both as a bundle and by the individual book.

As a bundle: Shipping was understandably delayed due to COVID, so I have no problems there. OtakuRepublic was very transparent and sent updates as needed. I knew that before purchasing as well.
If the books were used, I couldn't tell the difference as they looked brand new to me.
Also, OtakuRepublic sent me a keychain since this was my first purchase and I couldn't have been more grateful. I lost my first charm two years ago and hadn't gotten around to replacing it. So thanks, OtakuRepublic, for taking that extra step.
Now I have another money vampire I can look forward to serving! I say that as a good joke, though. All the books that I got were clear and crisp.

I've decided to learn Japanese just so I can read stuff with my favorite characters; that includes Yasuhiro and anything with him.

As for this individual doujin:
If you're looking for some beta Dangan Ronpa doujin, this is a good book to start! Especially if you love Yasuhiro and Isogai Hagakure.
The doujin begins in a school. In fact, it's likely the very parallel version of Hope's Peak (instead of the warehouse). Each of the beta characters has a few lines and an introduction of sorts.
But it's Isogai who seems to know more about the situation than he pretends; it's his crystal ball that enables a sort of switch that allows him to visit the non-beta world, and sends Yasuhiro to the beta world. The crystal ball acts as a kind of communication device, but when Naegi realizes something is off..
The person looking at him doesn't have the fearful countenance that he once held. No, despite having the same face as Yasuhiro..this guy seems like he's _seen_ some things.
I won't spoil the ending, but it looks like a bad end for Yasuhiro...
