- Otaku Republic exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I ordered a Twisted Wonderland doujin (my first ever doujinshi purchase) and was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy, secure, and discreet packaging as well as the free gift. I also appreciated the email I received on the day of its arrival, checking in to make sure I received everything in good condition and on time. - Everything was packaged in a thought out and detailed manner. Nothing arrived damaged, and the gift included was thoughtful and brought me joy. However, I had ordered size A5 and B5 Doujinshi covers and while the A5 fit my doujin perfectly, the B5 fit none of my B5 sized Doujin, regardless of the thickness of the spine/book. The front end of the doujin covers is too short, which ultimately creates a lot of unattractive air bubbles between the cover and the book in order to avoid bending the cover backwards. While it ultimately does do the job properly, they are not of the same quality of the A5 covers.
