Undead Unluck is a battle x dark fantasy manga that's currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It started in 2020, and up to volume 17 has been released so far!

Exactly. It won first place in the comics category of the Next Manga Award, and has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide. It's a pretty hot topic and popular series recently! So when the anime news broke, I remember there were people who said, 'Yay!' and those who said, 'Makes sense, it's popular.'

Undead Unluck is essentially a story about two individuals born with curse-like special abilities—“immortality” and “misfortune”—forming a team to seek the “ultimate death.”
