This sword was made in Kamakura era. It was given to a girl by her father, Yoshimitsu, and was a dowry present and also an object used to pray for happiness in her afterlife. He acts in a matter-of-fact manner and works with the player in a businesslike manner. It doesn’t mean he has no emotions, though. We should listen to his actual voice……

This Chara is classified as【剣】(Tsurugi), newly implemented in the game. Even though he has superpower where he can regain other Touken Danshi, he easily gets tired in return.

It’s said to be a wakizashi, used by Okada Izou. Having a little sharp tongue, he never hesitates to tell the player something vicious.

While he may seem as he only cares about crudely cutting down his enemies, in truth, he simply has not found the meaning of his existence yet besides slaying his foes.

School: Unlited

It used to belong to shishi (the person who forged him) in the late Edo period, who had high skills of swords and art. Like shishi, he, too, is studying swords, to help the player.

He keeps his own pace, always with smiles on his face and he sometimes can be playful, setting up a trap or reading books at Honmaru.

School: Unitle

It’s one of the treasured swords which used to belong to Okinawa. He looks like a child but has a relaxed personality as if he is a “big brother”.

He’s got his name because legend says he used to be a cooking knife. That’s why he is always willing to cook more than fighting in the battle. It has nothing to do with the battle but his outfit when he works in the field at Honmaru are super cute.

School: Gou (江)

He has belief that “Everything should be completed in rotation” and “Agriculture is a discipline that requires you to face off against nature in its entirety, after all”. He has a strong inquiring mind. He is a researcher who not only cooks and works in the field but also studies medicine and does paperwork. But he sometimes works so hard that people have seen him eating dirt in the field. He always treats his player kindly and calmly and seems like a “dependable big brother”.

Unlike his appearance, his personality is very mature. I mean, at least he tries to behave like a mature boy.

The former owner used to spread how wonderful swords were, which made him make a lot of efforts so he can be one of such wonderful swords. However, sometimes when he is in a pinch, he acts like a kid, getting interested in snacks and sweets.

School: Unlisted

He is known as one of the three great smiths of Edo.

He has a calm personality. He is good at making a compliment for other people. He has the broadest mind lf all the chara. More and more players are getting compliments from him.

He paired up with Suishinshi Masahide at the event, and he cherishes him as if he is his best friend.

School: Gou (江)

He accomplishes everything perfectly, just like the former owner but somehow, he’s addicted to “blood”. He basically holds back…… I mean, he tends to hide from other people. Therefore, the player often feels distant from him. He might be doing it on purpose because he thinks it has something to do with his past when he was involved with blood.

School: Fukuoka Ichimonji

His outfit is always modern. He is the leader of Fukuoka Ichimonji.

He has a cool personality with calmness and dignity. He is very good at leading people, being dependable as the leader. He is a little weird but cherishes everybody, calling the player the “little bird”, Honmaru the “nest” and the chara in his clan “his clan’s birds”.

School: Awataguchi

One of the Five Heavenly Swords, followed by Mikazuki Munechika, Juzumaru Tsunetsugu and Oodenta Mitsuyo.

He was looking for “demons” and wanting his “master”. Knowing a “demon” will come in front of the player from the dream he saw, he showed up in front of the player. He is unfriendly but is actually kind. He tends to treat people or objects so closely and empathize them that he tries to avoid interacting with them.
