★What kind of story?

 

At the end of the Edo era, aliens attacked Japan. People fought back against the aliens (Amanto), who invaded the earth, but the government ended up surrendering. 20 years after the attack… Shimura Shinpachi, who was about to be taken away his dojo (a training hall) of fencing technique, which was a keepsake from his father, from a debt collector, encountered Sakata Gintoki, who owned Yorozuya (a jack-of-all-trades) at the restaurant he dropped by….

From the left, it’s a dog, Sadaharu, the alien (Amanto), Kagura (the Yato), who is good at fighting, the owner of Yorozuya, Gintoki, who takes care of all kinds of requests, and Shinpachi, who offered Gintoki’s support. So this is a story where these three people and a dog play big roles. This team, Yorozuya, solves the requests from those who are in trouble, having some fuss, which makes us laugh and also moves us!
