Isn’t it romantic to fly in the sky with a broom? 

Isn’t it wonderful?  I bet everybody has mounted the broom and tried to jump during cleaning time at school or home!! 

I still long for the Magical Girl who can use magic! 

I know I’m not able to become one of them, but I love the Magical Girls and also the anime that they are in!

 

 

Oh well, here is what the special anime is all about！！

The image of Magical Girl has been thought of as the girl that fights against the vice with magical powers, not the girl who just recently can use magic. (゜∇ ゜) You’ll see strong, beautiful and even little clumsy girls in the Magical Girl Anime that I’ll introduce now！

 

 

 

 

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

 

 

 

I (Saori) think this is a representative Magical Girl Anime in the 2000s！(・`ω´・ ●) 

But the theme is rather serious and the content is rather philosophical such as ‘Hope and despair’,

‘The compensation that made the hope come true’, and ‘Life and death’ among all the Magical Girl Anime. 

The first three episodes are about the pretty girls who beat the vice with their magic, and then....

 

 

There are twelve episodes all together, but you can remember that the movie,

‘Rebellion(Hangyaku no Monogatari)’ which was the sequel of the anime was televised in 2013！

 

 

I (Saori) finally watched the movie, ‘Rebellion’, just recently... (。-`ω-) but I’m thinking there will be a sequel ...

what do you guys think？ In my opinion, I don’t think the final episode of the anime had a happy ending for all the characters.. so, I really want them to be happy either in the Rebellion or the sequel…！

 

 

By the way, I asked all the staff working here for the questionnaire about who is your favorite Magical Girl among five who are on the anime.  And the result was…！

We’ve got some comments about this such as “I like the Magical Girl because she’s so typical！(with a little bad meaning..)”

and “I like her personality being cheerful and reliable even though she has a dark past！(Plus, you gotta see the next story if you wanna know her more...)” ！

Sailor Moon

 

 

 

There is no doubt that you all would pick this very famous anime among all the ‘fighting Magical Girl Anime’ if you were given the information that is said ‘Sailor Moon Crystal’ has now been televised for its 20^th commemoration！

 

 

I was gonna mention, “Speaking of the original fighting Girl Anime, Sailor Moon(started in 1992) is the one！！(*゜∀゜)=3!!”

,but the original one seems like ‘Cutie Honey (started in 1973) ！！ 

I’m not good enough yet！！ Sorry（；-д- ）=3！！

 

 

Still, there is an element that the Sailor Moon could have been the original one(σ｀д´)σ！

That is ‘the element of the squadron (Some people who have the same magic ability fight against the vice)’！

It’s true that there are individual characters including all the vices in the Sailor Moon, isn’t it？

I like Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune in the Sailor Moon’s side！

I love amazon Trio in her enemy too！

There are many playful enemy characters except the final boss in the Sailor Moon and also the each story completes in each episode and won’t leave the dark story at the end, so to watch it every week was the favorite thing when I was little！

 

 

By the way... I still have the toy compact (make-up case) that Sailor Moon used when she transformed to the Magical Girl...  It’s one of my treasures that I can never throw away - even though it’s now working at all…(´,,･ω･,,`)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pretty Cure Series

 

 

 

 

Well, Pretty Cure Series are the one that have taken over Sailor Moon’s ‘element of the squadron’ ！

:*:･｡,☆ﾟ'･:*:･｡,ヽ(・∀・)人(・∀・)ﾉ ,｡･:*:･ﾟ'☆,｡･:*: 

The newest ‘HappinessCharge Precure! has been televised and is so popular now！

It’s been ten years since this anime started in 2004 and it’s changed the setting of the series once every year.  And now, there are more than 30 girls who can transform to the legendary fighter, ‘PreCure’ ！!!(●ω●;) 

So many, right?  I bet you guys have your favorite PreCure since they are all individual for both their appearances and personalities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love Cure Marine (I love her being too cheerful！), Cure Moonlight(She is the most matured among all the PreCure being so cool！) and Cure Peach(Her mind is just so ‘manly’ being more passionate and gentle than the normal men！There hasn’t been any PreCure like her being so strong and manly yet！！) among them！！

 

 

I love the series, ‘HeartCatch PreCure!’ and ‘Fresh Precure!’ …ヽ(ヽ>ω<)！！

This anime is so rare, due to it taking an entire year to complete the series, that it might be difficult for some of you to start watching it now.. But, it’s not too late if you check ‘HappinessCharge Precure!’ which is being televised now！

 

 

 

 

Card Captor Sakura

 

 

How many people have learned the word, ‘Moe (萌え)’ from this anime (。-`ω-)？

 

 

It’s such a wonderful Magical Girl Anime, and both the anime itself and the characters are full of kindness！

The main character, Kinomoto Sakura is chosen to be the Magical Girl, Cardcaptor who collects the ‘Clow Card’ and is also going to ruin the world.  Cerberus and her individually work around the town collecting all of the substantial Clow Cards！

 

 

These Clow Card are so unique！

The Clow Cards that are collected become members of Sakura, and each card can have secret abilities！

For instance, ‘Shadow’ can control the shadow, ‘Sword’ can change a cane to a sword being able to cut everything that Sakura wants to cut, ‘Fly’ can grow wings on a cane and fly in the sky！

I liked this anime a lot because as each episode is finished, there will be more magic they can use o(´∀`o三o´v`)o！

 

 

There is a rumor that they will have the remake with the anime version…！

Do you think it’s true?  If it was true, I would be so happy！！(*゜∀゜)=3!!

Of course they’re still so interesting to me.. 

The strongest impression I’ve had was when I was a little girl and felt, “Wow, the magic is awesome！

I wanna be a Magical Girl someday!”  When I was writing this article, I couldn’t help thinking about them with nostalgia.
