Finally, my favorite work, Yowamushi Pedal got the season 3 to start being broadcasted.

We have Souhoku High School led by the new captain, Teshima Junta and Hakone Gakuen led by the new captain, Izumida Touichirou.

Also, we have Kyoto Fushimi High School let by Midousuji Akira.

 

I am so looking forward to how it will progress. (*´﹀`*)

 

I actually follow its original work and know that the original work has a scene of day 3 in the Inter-High school competition. Although I can’t mention details, this year’s IH was full of passionate battles so we cannot miss both the anime and the original work!   

 

So, this time, I would like to introduce Yowamushi Pedal’s funny inside stories which I heard from the anime artist, Mr. Watanabe Wataru, at his talk event etc.!

1. Toudou Jinpachi opens a piercing hole after graduating from high school.

Toudou senpai appears in the comic’s volume 45.

And, he has something like an earring on his ear….

 

Among Toudou-sama’s fan club, it became a topic like “did Toudou-sama finally open his piercing hole?” but the fact reveled in the talk event of Watanabe-sensei held in summer.

 

It was found that the timing when he opened the hole was “just after graduating from high school”!

Toudou-sama is still fashionable and trendy!

 

Is Toudou-san after graduating from high school going to be drawn in the future? I am so looking forward to it!

 

By the way, when the draft was submitted at the first time, the earring was thought as some dust by the editing people. lol

2. Midousuji-kun’s academic score is the number 1 level in the grade!

The one who always says “Kimo! Kimo! (Gross! Gross!)” is Midousuji-kun.

In the bike racing as well, it is well drawn that he is trying to pursue to win by working out tactical schemes.

 

As he is not good at the other sports besides cycling, there were some scenes in anime and manga that he was made fun of by his classmates in elementary school… However, he is very good at studying!

 

Such a fast cycling with his sharp brain! He is the man to be the captain, yet he is in the 1st grade.

By the way, his favorite girl’s type is “the not-talkative one”.

 

 

 

3. The one who was created because the editing group said “we need a bad character” is Manami-kun.

 

 

The people from the editing group said the bad character is required…and Minami-kun was created. He is not at all the bad character, and more like a nice and relaxing character was made.  

 

 

This is not called a bad character but AN ANGEL !!!!!!!!!

4. Teshima-san makes cookies in return for Valentine’s Day!

The one who always says “It’s a tea time!” is Souhoku High School’s new captain, Teshima-san.

 

Although his best food is fried rice, it’s found that he gives his homemade cookies in return for Valentine’s Day!

We can’t stop smiling if we imagine that Teshima-san is making his own cookies…

 

Today is Valentine’s Day ! Everyone, how about giving a present of chocolates to Teshima-san?

 

 

 

5. Izumida-kun’s name was “Yuuki” when he appeared for the first time!

 

 

The one who always says “Abu! Abu! (Careful! Careful!) is Hakone Gakuen’s new captain, Izumida-kun.

The name on the athletes’ list first appearing in this manga said “Izumida Yuuki”. 

However, as Watanabe-sensei has been moving ahead in the manga, he thought like “It shouldn’t be Yuuki! It should be Touichirou!” and decided to modified the name to “Touichirou” in the book.

I was very surprised to hear this story…

I introduced some inside stories so far but how was all?

Personally, if I hear these kinds of stories, I daydream a lot and cannot stop smiling. (￣▽￣)
