【YOI FINAL EPISODE】THE BEST HAPPY ENDING EVER IN ANIME HISTORY 2016.

Boss(  'ω') “Yuuri finally retired as a pro-skater after the Grand Prix Final and confided that he wanted to cancel the contract with Victor as his coach. That’s the end of the episode 11, huh? Alright now what? Let’s check out the last episode (episode 12) now!”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “So... like Boss said, Victor was told that Yuuri wanted to cancel the coach contract...”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Oh, my....... Victor is crying!!!!”

 

 

「勝生勇利がここまで自分勝手だと思わなかった。」

「もっとオレの力を必要としてるのかと思ってた。」

 

“I’ve never thought that Katsuki Yuuri was that selfish.”

“I thought he wanted my support more.”

 

 

 

 

「自分は引退して、俺には競技を続けろなんてよく言えるよね！」

 

“How can you say that I should keep on going for more competitions while you’ll retire, huh?

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “It looks like he’s ‘so mad’ at it...”

 

 

Saori(゜×゜) “Hmm... They keep growing apart... even though they care about each other... They ended up not having come to conclusion on that day. Instead, they decided to think about it after they know the result of the competition.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “So! Here comes the day for the free program! Starting order is from J.J, who got 6^th place on short program!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Even though J.J had been completely confident of himself before, he ended up getting the worst score ever, struggling with tension and pressure on the previous short program. No knowing what he was doing, he even screamed at his coaches (his parents) in the middle of the practice...”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “He started his performance late and failed his jump performance... J.J felt as if he was thrown out there with his body naked.”

 

 

「まさに、翼の折れたJ.J。」

 

“It’s exactly J.J with his wings broken.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “You know? He said it himself. I thought he was coming back to normal.”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Yeah! Then J.J started to recall what he’s never given up. That’s the fact that ‘He, himself, is J.J’! No matter who said anything to him, he’s never given up him being himself! As soon as he recalled it, his performance completely changed!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “J.J is completely back!!!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “He got the high score and here comes J.J, who we know, back!!!”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Exactly!!! It was ‘Welcome back’ from the bottom of our heart, huh?”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “And the second skater was Phichit-Kun. He, too, failed some of his performances at the beginning. But what he was thinking was nothing like worries or fears.”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “What Phichit-Kun was thinking was that ‘he wants more and more people in the world to know how wonderful the skating is through himself’! His dream (which he’s kept it secret even to his friend, Yuuri) is ‘to hold an ice-skate show in his home country, Thailand’!!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “I can tell that he’s definitely the one among all the skaters, who participated in this Grand Prix Final, who loves skating most.”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “That’s why Phichit-Kun had a smile on his face until the last moment! It was such a wonderful performance that showed us how much he loved skating! (I laughed at Otabek-Kun having a serious face even in the imaginary world.)”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “You were super cute and looked super fun as well!!! It was fantastic, Phichit-Kun!!!!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “And finally...”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “It’s a Yuuri’s turn.”

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Believe in yourself.” “You will definitely get the gold medal.” Victor encouraged Yuuri. ... In my opinion though... I thought, ‘How curt he was speaking... How empty those words were....’”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “But that was exactly what Yuuri felt too, huh? Yuuri said to Victor...”

 

 

「Victorには、Victorでいてほしい」

 

“I want you to be yourself, Victor.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Then he replied to Yuuri by saying ‘I don’t know if this is the right thing to say as a coach’ at the beginning...”

 

 

 

 

「世界選手権５連覇したオレが休んでまでコーチしたのに、いままで金メダル一つとれないってどういうこと？」

Boss(  'ω') “And at the very last moment, Yuuri made the Quadruple flip jump, which is now called Victor’s pronoun, beautifully successful!!!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Yuuri performed the hardest performance ever in a skating history without any mistakes. At the moment he finished his performance, we saw Victor, ahead of his fingers... I was so fantastic that we all cried at that moment.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “No mistakes and the hardest performance ever... That record was tremendous enough to have broken the best score that Victor (his coach) had had at a Men’s Free Program History.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Of course Victor celebrated him but...”

 

「おめでとうユーリ。二人のユーリに俺の記録を抜かれたのは、振付け師兼コーチとしては最高にうれしいが…」

 

“Congrats, Yuuri. I’m extremely happy that you broke my record as your choreographer and coach but...”

 

 

 

 

「競技者としては、最高に面白くないね。」

 

“It sacks as a pro-skater.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Victor has finally decided to come back as a pro-skater.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Sushi and meat are on my mind though...)

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Then Chris went next. Yuuri broke his best score so he started with a little uneasy feeling. He looked a little cute, being irritated since Victor was not watching him!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “It looks like many participants of this competition like Victor, huh? I really liked the scene when he realized that he was actually the one who was being aimed at, since he was too used to aiming at other skaters. I also liked the moment when his heart skipped a beat, getting a cheering word from Victor!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “And here comes Eros.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Even though he did his best by changing his last performance, making up for his mistakes... but the result didn’t get better. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get any medals.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “But I like Chris so much! I really wanted to see him being so gentle, mischievous and cute!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Next, when Otabek-Kun was about to start his performance... Yurio was getting ready for his, when Victor came and told him that he was going to come back as a pro-skater.”

 

 

 

 

『おい、それってカツ丼(Yuuri)が引退するってことか？』

 

“Hey, what? That means Katsudon (Yuuri) is going to retire?”

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Saying that he has no idea, he added ‘It’s up to Yuuri.’ ... Then he held Yurio so tight.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “What was Victor thinking about at that time...?”

 

Boss(  'ω') “I know... But he looked so sad to me...”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Otabek-Kun went well, getting 3^rd place so far. Yuuri’s complete 1^st place hasn’t changed yet... then the last skater, Yurio is on rink.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Yurio recalled that Yuuri failed his jump so bad at the competition a year ago after Yurio just heard that Yuuri might retire. But again, he also thought that he wanted to watch Yuuri making no mistakes with wonderful steps Yuuri made.”

 

 

 

 

(ダッセェ。泣いてんのかよ)

 

(Lame. Are you crying?)

 

 

 

 

(金メダル取れても辞めんのか？Victorの点越えられたら他はどうでもいいのか？ふざけんな、俺をガッカリさせんな！！)

 

(You’re gonna retire even if you get a gold medal? You don’t care about anything if you break Victor’s record? You idiot! Don’t let me down!!)

 

 

(豚に喰わせる金メダルはねぇ！！)

 

(There’s no such gold medal as the one for a pig!!)

 

 

 

 

「いま引退したら、一生後悔させてやる！！！」

 

“If you retire now, I’ll make you regret forever!!!”

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Coach was saying. ‘You got so far from prima. But your performance has evolved to new beauty that only you can create.’ She was absolutely correct, huh?”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Even though he made some mistakes, his performance was powerful and beautiful.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “When I saw Yurio who burst into tears as soon as he’s finished his performance... I started crying again for the third time...”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “The result was... Yurio won a championship by a veryyyyyyyyyy narrow margin!!! It was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper awesome!!! Everybody did great work!!! Fantastic!!!!! Yuuri got 2^nd place, unfortunately... J.J’s 3^rd place was great but Yuuri brought his silver medal to Victor.”

 

 

 

 

「金メダルじゃないと、キスする気になれないなぁ俺」

 

“I’m not feeling like kissing it unless it’s a gold medal.”

 

 

 

 

「あーあ、ユーリの金メダルにキスしたかったなーこんなんじゃコーチ失格だよ」

 

“Oh God... I really wanted to kiss Yuuri’s gold medal... I’m not a good coach after all, huh?”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “I laughed, crying at the same time in this scene. It was such a lovely scene with Victor and Yuuri who we know.”

 

 

 

 

『僕と一緒にあと一年、競技生活続けてください！』

 

“Would you be with me for the competition for another year?”

 

 

 

『金メダル、絶対取ります！！』

 

“I will definitely get the gold medal!!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Victor was so pleased to hear that Yuuri officially denied his retirement declaration!!”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “But Victor laughed at what Yuuri said and told him that to get the gold medal is not enough since Victor will work hard not only as his coach but also as a pro-skater from now on. Then Victor suggested Yuuri that he should win five consecutive titles at the world skating championship, just like Victor achieved before, in compensation for Victor doing Yuuri’s coach.”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Yuuri nodded... He looked so happy, didn’t he?”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “The last scene was an exhibition match where Victor and Yuuri skated tegether. The name of the music was ‘Stay with me’（離れずにそばにいて）.”

《We call LOVE. We call everything on ice LOVE.》

 

 

 

 

『ユーリ!!!』

 

“Yuuri!!!”

 

 

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “After the ending, Yuuri was running in the town (maybe in Russia). Then Yurio and Victor were there with him too. These three will keep skating on ice from now on.”

 

 

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... We can’t watch Season 2 yet?????????”

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Exactly. I just cannot accept the reality that we cannot watch this next week.”

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “The final episode was super awesome, huh? Why is there only one gold medal though? I wanna give it to everybody. They all did a great job, you know?”

 

 

Saori(゜∇ ゜) “Exactly. I’m expecting fantastic Season 2 soon.... They’ll make it right?????”

 

 

Boss(  'ω') “I wish they would~ I’d like the movie version too. I mean I really want the scene where they skate on ice more. They were all beautiful, weren’t they? Oh well, I’ll just watch the final episode again. I’ll reset my memory and get moved again.”
