They, too, have some wishes that they want to make come true as well, acquiring the Holy Grail. The seven masters, who want the ‘holy grail’ and the seven servants, who made a contract with the masters, struggle for supremacy.

Therefore, to defeat them, there will be only two choices: ‘ruin the partner’s servant’ or ‘kill the master who is arraigning the servant’. They can also abandon the right, but they don’t conduct it since most participants join it with a strong wish and commitment.”

 

 

(  'ω') “But you don’t have to kill the partner’s master, do you? If you can only ruin the servant, the partner will lose the right, no?”

 

 

(*´･∀･) “Yes, you’re right. ...But the arraigned servants are reinforced physically and also by magic, according to the anecdote that each one has. It’s much easier just to kill normal human who made contracts with the servants than trying to ruin the servant.”

 

 

 

 

 

2.Fate series is a story about the bond between human-beings who currently live their lives and the heroes who lived their past.

 

(  'ω') “Hmmm.... Even though I want to make their wishes come true but it’s such a high risk!! I really want to be a strong servant and a partner!!! What kind of servants are there?”

 

 

(σゝ∀・)σ “Servants are basically chosen, who matches with their masters. But I’ve heard that it’s easier for you to use something familiar to the servant, whom you want to make a contract with, as the catalyst when you arraign it!”

 

 

 

 

★Saber

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with the sword

The heroes classified as this class have high abilities. They’re considered as “the excellent”.

 

 

Left: Arthur Pendragon (King Arthur) - A king of England, who pulled the sacred sword, Excalibur

Right: Okita Souji - One of the members of Shinsen-gumi who took a great role in the late Edo Period. Even though he is a specialist of the sword, he became ill and died young.

 

 

 

 

★Archer

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with shooting

Since they are good at shooting from far away, they can stay separately from their masters as well.

 

 

Left: Robin Hood - A hero of England He is known to have fought against the tyrant. He’s a specialist of archery and also a chivalrous robber. 

Right: Oda Nobunaga - A Japanese warrior He is known to have been ‘a fool’ but has defeated so many enemies in battles with his excellent shooting ability.

 

 

 

 

★Lancer

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with lance

He is second to none when I comes to one-to-one battle, making use of his swiftness and high ability of using lance.

 

 

Left: Cú Chulainn – A hero in Celtic mythology. He’s made a number of anecdotes with a lance called Gáe Bolg

Right: Musashi bou Benkei – A Japanese warrior in Heian Period He stole weapons from the losers and ended up having 999 of them in total.

 

 

 

 

★Rider

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with a trooper

Most servants have anecdotes where they ride ships or horses well and their killer technique is Noble Phantasm.

 

 

Left: (Sir)Francis Drake – A voyager of England He defeated Spanish fleet, which was known to be invincible at that time with its high ability on voyage.

Right: Iskandar – A king of Macedonia Kingdom A brave warrior who did the great expedition to the east, toward oceanus and governed all the countries that he passed on the way.

 

 

 

 

★Assassin

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with assassination They are able to block sign of life.

They are the best in ability when it comes to killing the masters (human-beings). They are in the class called ‘Masters’ worst enemies’.

 

 

Left: Jack the Ripper – A criminal of the bizarre serial murders occurred in England... at least people believe so.

Right: Fuuma Kotarou – Japanese Ninja’s ruler. He has an actual record saying he used to serve Japanese warriors.

 

 

 

 

★Caster

Servants who have the anecdote which is related with magic

Even though they’re not good at hand-to-hand battles, we can have them substitute for fighting against the beasts that they arraign with their magic.

 

 

Left: Shokatsu Koumei – A great staff officer in China. A strategist who defeated enemy countries so many times with his talented strategies

Right: Tamamono Mae – A fox monster who is known to have perplex then-Chinese-King with her beauty.

 

 

 

 

★Berserker

The spirits of dead soldiers that have lunatic episodes, which are handed down, are considered as these members.

This is a highly-physically-trained-class in return for their reasons. Even though they are good at overwhelming hand-to-hand battles, they’re poor at having a normal communication due to their mental issues.

 

 

Left: Hēraklēs A hero of Greece

He is a hero who completed 12 trainings even though regular heroes cannot complete even one of them.

Right: Ryohu Housen A matchless solder in ancient China

Due to his various anecdotes, he’s qualified not only as Berserker class but only as four other classes: Assassin, Lancer, Rider and Archer.

He tends to betray people when he is arraigned in any other classes except the Berserker class, where he loses himself.

 

 

 

 

 

(  'ω') “So one of these seven will be chosen and become our partner, huh?”

 

 

(*´･∀･) “Yes. They basically have a rule in which one class has only group so having two from the Saber class can’t happen. (Again, basically)”

 

 

 

 

(  'ω') “Mmm...Mmm... To me, Berserker looks scary... so I’ll have Saber who is considered as “the best”!”

 

 

(*´･∀･) “Oh well, if you’re lucky though! Rinchan from Fate/staynight tried to summon one from Saber class at first but ended up summoning a servant form Archer class for some reasons! You cannot have the best one!”

(*´･∀･) “But Rin-Chan and the summoned Archer matched so well. Even though neither of them like something mean or unfair and they try to conduct things calmly, they attack boldly in battles.
