Mafuyu(-д-): C’mon~ Here’s what... The biggest event this summer, Comiket is over, you know~?

 

 

Aoi( ´_ゝ`): Don’t be lazy like that! You still have work to do! You gotta tell all our friends who visit Otaku Republic about how you liked Comiket as one of the visitors!!!

 

 

Mafuyu (｡◕ฺ∀◕ฺ｡): You’re correct!!!! I’ve got some pictures that I took at Comiket so I can share them with our friends! So today, I’ll look back Comiket90 with those pictures!

 

 

 

~Let’s look back a Summer Big Event, Comiket90!~

 

 

 

Two weeks from today... I went to Comiket90 with Ryoヾ(｡>ｖ<｡)ﾉﾞ

 

 

　

 

 

 

 

Full of people everywhere!!!

 

 

Comiket took place for three days from August 12^th to 14^th. Here are the numbers of the visitors on each day.

 

 

Day 1 150,000

Day 2 170,000

Day 3 210,000

 

 

530,000 in total!

 

 

So many Otaku not only from Japan but also from all over the world got together this year too☆★

 

 

And! Speaking of Comiket, it’s Doujinshi!!

 

 

 

 

Loot at this long line they are making! This is for the popular Circle. (； ･`д･´)

Since so many people wait in line like that, the last person of the line is supposed to have the ‘last person in line’ sign as a picture above so everybody can see where they should go to wait in line.

 

 

When we wait in line for the company booths, the staff holds it but for buying Doujinshi, we have to hold it.

Sometimes we even hold the sign saying it’s the middle of the line of *** here (as you can see a picture above) especially for waiting for popular Circles since the line gets too long for us to tell where the start and the end of the line are.

 

 

Yes.

 

 

There’s no such thing as customers in Comiket! They are all participants!!!

 

But you’re worried about this long line, huh? Are we able to buy what we want for sure?

Here’s a video of the famous Circle which is known to have the best-organized line. Guess what? You can just wait in line for about five minutes even though this is the one which is popular enough to have everybody wait in such a long line.

 

The Doujinshi they sell is only one kind and the price is 1,000yen!

 

 

All you can do is to get ready for 1,000 yen and put it in the box as a picture below.

Isn’t it amazingly fast? ヽ(*´∇｀)ﾉ

 

 

It’s like a dream that we can buy Doujinshi that fast, huh?!

It’s completely out of the world to see this scene where everybody is lifting 1,000 yen up like that, huh?!!!

 

 

Here comes the next one! Cellphone companies’ trucks!

 

 

As you can see in ☆Aoi & Mafuyu TIMES Vol.12☆, we sometimes lose reception (Wi-Fi) at Comiket since so many people get together in such a small space.

 

 

To prevent such a problem, they set up the cellphone companies’ trucks for reception supply.

 

 

This year, the one with Uta no Prince-sama was set up.

Not only the truck, have we also seen some staffs holding flag with members of Uta no Prince-sama on here and there at the venue.

Isn’t it exciting?!

 

 

I just couldn’t stop grinning on my face since I saw Uta no Prince-sama for the ad on the pillar as well

We also saw Touken Ranbu’s track besides Uta no Prince-sama’s one~

What’s next?! Collaboration Items with Lawson!

 

 

The convenience store, Lawson, near Comiket’s venue, sells different anime’s original goods for each day for three days.

 

 

 

 

Here’s what they sell this year:

 

 

Day 1: Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit?)

 

Day 2: Uta no Prince-sama

 

Day 3: THE IDOLM@STER

 

 

 

 

 

Of course I got the Uta no Prince-sama’s goods after waiting in line★

Just by looking at them, I can be happy, you know~?!

Finally, speaking of Comiket.... well of course... Cosplaying!!!!

We enjoyed a variety of cosplayers such as good-looking guys, beautiful ladies, foreign people and funny-looking people this year too! ('ω'〃)

 

 

 

 

I found the one doing Yowamushi Pedal too~

Not a bicycle but a tricycle!!!??? I just couldn’t help but laugh at it(°∀°)

 

 

I saw a sign saying ‘Looking for the members’. I wanna join your club!!!

 

 

I had such a wonderful time being a participant at Comiket, getting some goods and Doujinshi and enjoying watching some cosplayers this year too~

 

 

To Otaku in the whole world! You guys did a great job this year too! ∩*´∇｀*∩

Mafuyu(^q^): Thanks~! I had a blast this year too★ I hope all our friends who visit Otaku Republic will feel this excitement and enjoy this atmosphere too.
