We could solve any kind of problems that we cannot solve alone, if three of us gathered! Yes! There are so many invincible trios in anime world too! So for today’s press, I’ll share such famous trio in manga or anime with you guys!”

 

 

 

●Black Tri-Stars

This is a pilot team consisting of three; Gaia, Ortega, and Mash. One of their killer techniques is called ‘Jet Stream Attack’. This technique is very strategic, in which three of them line up vertically so that they can be seen as only one person there attacking. This is how it works: Two of them, lining in the back, attack the enemy, while the enemy is attacked by the first one, lining in the front. Why don’t you give it a try?”

●Shuutetsu Trio

This is a trio that doesn’t make sense to Saori (me), actually. I put this on here just because our Boss really recommends. I couldn’t find any good pictures even though I’ve tried. I’m so sorry. This is a trio; Izawa & Taki & Kisugi, who appeared in Captain Tsubasa. Boss says, ‘They are so good at playing soccer even though they are still elementary school students. But they ended up being lost by the main character, Tsubasa-Kun. But this is a trio that is very special to me!’ He said this is the best trio, guys! Check it out!

●Chimame-Tai

The next trio is this; Kafuu Chino, Jōga Maya, Natsu Megumi, who are all in the first grade of high school, appearing in Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit?). They are actually great buddies. Saori (I) likes Megu-Chan most in Chimame-Tai. Boss likes Chiya-Chan most in Chimame-Tai. By the way, Chiya-Chan is not a member of Chimame-Tai.

●川内型 (Sendai class cruiser)

Sendai class cruiser represents Sendai・Jintsū・Naka-chan in anime, Kantai Collection - Kan Colle –. They’re sisters: the oldest one is sturdy and loves to fight at night, the second one is always calm, supporting her sisters and the youngest one is so cute, pursuing her dream to become an idol. They actually don’t work well at the very beginning, but they become such a strong Kanmusu when they’ve grown up. Just so scary! I don’t think I’m a fan of Naka-chan anymore!

●Team 7　 Kakashi-Han

Team 7 Kakashi-Han represents these three; Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke, who have trained under Hatake Kakashi. They used to have totally different ways of fighting, thinking and even growing so they never matched. But as time went by, the time has come when they got together to defeat the enemy, which moved a lot of fans. Saori (I) was moved too. Here comes the strongest Ninja Trio.

●New Generations

Here is another trio unit appearing in THE IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls; Shibuya Rin, Shimamura Uzuki and Honda Mio. Since they happened to form this unit all the sudden, they really didn’t have good skills or experiences. But after they went through all the failures, they’ve grown to be brilliant idols. Even though they all have different preferences or the ways of thinking about idols, the way they cherish their members is always the same. Since they are the last group that was formed, they used to be called ‘late Cinderella Girls’. But they will turn into real ‘Cinderella’ after going through various difficulties.

●Jupiter

Here is a trio unit consisting of three men, appearing in THE IDOLM@STER and THE IDOLM@STER SideM; Mitarai Shota, Hokuto Ijuuin and Touma Amagase. They used to achieve so many times under the president’s authority in their former production. They decided to leave the production, realizing those achievement were not from their abilities. They will restart on their own once again in the newly-built small production. Even though they were depicted as villain-like characters in the story of THE IDOLM@STER, we can see how hard they try in the sequent anime called THE IDOLM@STER SideM. When will this animate?

●Akatsuki (紅月)

This is a school number 2 unite, appearing in Ensemble Stars! This is a Japanese-style unit with three members having high abilities and popularity in the idol-training school which has over hundreds of students. Hasumi Keito is a member of student council, always following school’s rules. Kanzaki Souma is a veteran of Kendo (Japanese fencing), even though he often nearly draws his Japanese sword. Kiryu Kuro looks wicked but is actually gentle. Their singing and performances are Japanese-style with an elegant taste. I can’t wait to see their concert in anime.

●Tenka Sanmei Sou (天下三名槍)

Three spears; Nihongou, Otegine and Tonbokiri, which were used by historically famous Japanese soldiers, are called ‘Three Great Spears of Japan’. Actually, they are also implemented in Touken Ranbu, and if you have all three of them join in your troop and attack, a special conversation even occurs. By the way, their personalities are different; Nihongou loves to drink alcohol, Otegine is gentle but clumsy and Tonbokiri is just so serious. But their abilities are quite high. Many users must have them in their parties. FYI, Nihongou is hard to acquire. So many users are almost crying unable to get it. Saori (I), too, was crying, even though she finally got it. Hehehe.

●CAT’S EYE (キャッツアイ)

This is a mysterious thief trio with three sisters; Kisaragi Rui, Kisaragi Hitomi and Kisaragi Ai. They are the top-ranking Japanese mysterious thief heroines in Japanese manga ranking. They retrieve their father’s works robbed illegally under the name of the café they own, in order to look for their missing artist father. The special attraction of this anime is scenes of recapturing arts, using not only their magic but also their inborn abilities. It’s just so thrilling. We got a special kick out of seeing the scene when they outwitted policemen, didn’t we?
