( =ω=) Well, for Ayami Times of this week, I’ll send a super special number to you guys! Plus, I’ll write in a little different way this time too! Oh, wait... There was something like this written in the previous Saori Press....

That’s what was pushed to do by Saori Senpai... gefun, gefun.. I mean I was asked to do!

( =ω=) So, for today’s Ayami Times, I’ll write a special number about Comiket88 (NatsuKomi).

( =ω=) Even though summer Comiket is such a fun festival, the environment is cruel! We can never go and join it without having the determination to fight with the strong sunshine and the high temperature!

( =ω=) Speaking of Comiket, what the staffs (who guide visitors in the venue) say always becomes the topic of conversation, right? But what on earth is the hellish 1-Chome, though...?

☆Even convenience stores are ready to fight!

( =ω=) It’s not only the otaku who fight in the Comiket! They are all ready for so many relief goods for people heading for Comiket in the convenience stores near the venue as well!

☆7 Meter-Long Hug Pillow

( =ω=) The first thing that became a topic of conversation in Comiket Day 1 was Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou!

( =ω=) 7 Meter-Long Pillow Covers that were reproduced with the actual heights of the character (which cost \100,000 [≒$804].....), which was sold out right away. It’s surprising to hear that they were all sold in the first Day, isn’t it?

( =ω=) If we get the 7 meter-long pillow cover, we also have to get the 7 meter-long pillow itself, anyway? Is it only I that think this way.....? But this character, Ramia-Chan is cute. (A long trunk is one of her charms, right?) I think I’ll watch the anime, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou!

☆Base station cars were made especially for Comiket too!

( =ω=) This is a base station car for Comiket owned by a cellar phone company! The radio wave sure gets hard to connect, especially when so many people get together in the place like Comiket, right? (In short, this car helps make the signals connect easily.)

( =ω=) Here is another cellar phone company. Each company has a different design on the car! Usually the advertisement of dramas or idols are designed on such cars, so this time, μ’s or ST☆RISH are like the real idols, don’t you think? It’s so exciting, isn’t it?

( =ω=) By the way, these are the ones designed last year...

( =ω=) How do you like them?! The truck designed with Shingeki no Kyojin is so powerful, isn’t it....? And Sonico-Chan on the second picture looks exactly like the real Sonico-Chan who is super cute, especially with its pop design!

( =ω=) You see the one in the middle, surrounded by strong-looking SPs.... He is the one in question from the rumor in the Comiket, which everybody said, “I found the oil magnate in Comiket!!”

( =ω=) Here is an envelope that the oil magnate left on the booth where he shopped. It looks like it’s sealed with a noble-looking crest... What on earth is in it?? By the way, Ryo saw this envelope too.

Boss( ' ω ') ＜You ready? Get closer to him and softly give an Otaku Republic’s flier to him!!

Day 2 The number of participants: 160,000 (Comiket86: 170,000)

◎Weather: Cloudy Highest Temperature: 38℃ (100.4℉)

Staff-San “You know what? I’ve been seeing so many people who went into convulsions, fell down with their eyes rolled back and ended up being unable to move, due to this heat.”

【Sad News】Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit?) is sold out!

( =ω=) Yes, it was still early morning on Day 2 of Comiket, when such news was announced. It’s become another legend that the rumor, which they are all sold out, spread out even before they start selling items.

( =ω=) Gochiusa is such a popular anime that its items were expected to be sold out in Comiket! That’s why such a rumor spread out before they even started selling items, I guess.

( =ω=) Maybe people who really want to get the item might be spreading such a rumor? This incident has been a copy among fans, being called ‘high-level information battle’. So, don’t you ever give up getting the one you want, even if you hear that they are already sold out, okay?!

☆Heatstroke Countermeasure in Comiket!

( =ω=) Due to the unbroken hot days, some goods for the heatstroke countermeasure were being distributed to people in some of the companies’ booths!

( =ω=) This is the Gochiusa that I just shared with you! It’s a coolant that has drawn characters in swimsuits. It looks cool too! (Look! Sharo-Chan in a swimsuit!!! I don’t think I can cool down with these goods.)

( =ω=) You might be familiar with this from the Fate Series. Yes, it was being distributed in Ufotable booth! You hot? Get some salt! The inside of this package are salt candies! Rin-Chan and Saber on the package are cute, aren’t they?! (Oh, by the way, does any other country also sell salt candies.....?)

( =ω=) Cute characters are being printed to even free distributing goods too! It’s awesome! There will be fewer people who fall down with heat if we have something like this... To the staffs in the companies, thank you all!

☆Cosplaying area is in full swing too!!

( =ω=) One more special-feature in Comiket is... the cosplaying area where cosplayers from all around Japan, who had been long preparing for the Comiket, get together!

Staff-San “Now, you’re going to have a fate change after this.”

( =ω=) It’s the last day! All the staff-san have been guiding about 550,000 people in three days in total, right?

☆Just get it before they are sold out! Kenran Zuroku!

( =ω=) This is a line waiting for the company booth. Look at the crowds in the middle! What do you think they are waiting in line for?

( =ω=) The answer is this! It’s a Touken Ranbu’s Model Sheet, ‘Kenran Zuroku’, which so many people have made a reservation for in Otaku Republic too! We could get it in Comiket, earlier than anywhere else. This shows so much information as to the characters’ heights or something that you have questions about in the game as well!

( =ω=) Mmmm, it’s such a long line.... According to the information by the person who actually got it, it’s a diverse range of Model Sheet! I can’t wait to get mine too! Please wait a little longer if you make a reservation via Otaku Republic, okay?

☆In the end...

( =ω=) Even though we were expecting to have bad weather when Comiket was held, we ended up having no rain nor bad weather at all for the three days! We were so lucky! (Except for the humidity though....)
