Hello everyone~! This is Saori from Otaku Republic!

Today! September 2026... it seems that work has reached its 20th serialization anniversary! Congratulations~! Various commemorative events seem to be unfolding one after another~!

20th anniversary... as original author Toboso-Sensei also said, it is also a milestone year where a newborn child is recognized as an adult in Japan, isn't it? (Currently, some qualifications are lifted from age 18) I think continuing to serialize one manga across such a long history of 20 years is truly amazing... Congratulations!

In commemoration of this 20th anniversary, the latest comics volume is released in September, and Monthly G Fantasy October 2026 issue becomes the 'Black Butler' 20th Serialization Anniversary Issue! Limited goods commemorating the 20th anniversary appear from official goods brand 'Black Butler Black Label', and holding an exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary is also decided, showing quite big movements from the end of the year through 2027 has been announced!

Currently, the main story 'Blue Revenge Arc - Chapter South (Brighton) -' starts in earnest, with new mysteries and enemies standing in front of Ciel and Sebastian. I feel a new cour of the anime will be broadcast again... what on earth will happen in the final episode, I wonder? Surely revenge will be fulfilled... I feel that way, but what will happen to Ciel and Sebastian? I'm too curious whether his soul will be collected...! Everyone, please try re-checking Black Butler anime and manga so far in commemoration of the 20th anniversary!
