The first 20 minutes of Episode 1 of the anime adaptation of Kagurabachi will be screened in 4 cities worldwide!
Though it states ”the full episode” for Japan,
which is the final stop of the tour......?

To explain the details of the announced news, Kagurabachi, which is currently serialized in Shonen Jump and scheduled to start broadcasting its anime in April 2027...... surprisingly, before that April 2027 date, the first 20 minutes of Kagurabachi Episode 1 will be screened in advance at anime conventions around the world! According to the schedule announced so far......

2026 JUL 03 / Anime Expo / Los Angeles

2026 JUL 09 / Japan Expo Paris / Paris

2026 AUG 01/ AnimagiC / Mannheim

2026 AUG 22 / Anime NYC / New York

It looks like the earliest screening will be at Anime Expo in Los Angeles this July!

The key point here is that for Japan, the final stop of the tour, it was written as ”world premiere screening of the full Episode 1.” Since it said ”the first 20 minutes of Episode 1” for the other locations...... maybe Episode 1 is longer than 25 minutes, or perhaps it has a volume equivalent to about two episodes? Just like Oshi no Ko did in the past, this might be a strategy to fully adapt up to a good turning point in the very first episode and attract a large audience!
