Super Comic City, the ultra-large Doujinshi event in May, ended successfully the other day...... but amazingly, it has been decided that new doujinshi events will be held in late June & early July!

Although its holding has been decided, Hoshi ni Negai wo 2026 is quite a unique event! To explain what kind of event it is, first of all, it is an only-type doujinshi event. In contrast to the all-genre type where you can distribute works of all manga and characters without hesitation, it is an event consisting solely of doujinshi of works featuring characters from designated manga!

”And what about the event name, ’Hoshi ni Negai wo’? In Japan, that period...... around July 7th, is exactly the day to celebrate Tanabata! Just like wishing upon a star for the reunion of Orihime and Hikoboshi, who long for each other across the Milky Way, it is an event name embedded with wishes themed around Tanabata, hoping that this character and that character can be together forever! This event has become an annual tradition, and if there is an event name related to stars or wishes during this period, its characteristic is that it is associated with this Tanabata!

DAY1 will be held on June 28th, so it is still a while away, but there are already many works accepting pre-orders! As the event approaches, the new works you can check out will increase little by little, so please make sure to check the lineup of Hoshi ni Negai wo 2026 when you have a moment!
