This time! ......Isn't it about time for some information on a new entry......!? It seems that legendary action-adventure game has reached its 20th anniversary!

Do you all know the work called Ookami? Ookami is a game that was released exactly 20 years ago on April 20th, and it is a story where you control Amaterasu, a god from Japanese mythology (who looks like a pure white dog), and restore a world that has become a barren wasteland!

As a unique element of Ookami, there were puzzle-solving aspects where you used a brush (the tip of Amaterasu's tail) to draw pictures and lines on the screen to materialize them, create paths, cut rocks, and defeat enemies! In the PlayStation 2 version from 20 years ago, you had to use stick controls to draw on the screen with the brush, but in versions like the Switch version, you can draw using touch controls, which allows you to draw more intuitively and exactly as you imagined, greatly expanding the range of gameplay!

Actually, about a year ago, it was announced that a completely new Ookami title was in production! There hasn't been any notable follow-up news since then, but this year, being the 20th anniversary...... perhaps there might be an update, or even a release!? Various events are currently being held in Japan to commemorate the 20th anniversary...... I can't help but suspect that maybe this is to remind many people about Ookami!
