Lately, many different anime have been reaching their 10th anniversaries! And the anime I’m introducing today will also celebrate its 10th anniversary in April! Furthermore, from 2026 onwards...... it seems this anime will be heading toward a major new development!

there’s a new development for the future of
Bungou Stray Dogs......!?

And so! In April 2026, the Bungou Stray Dogs anime reaches its 10th anniversary! Quite a few various and famous works started their anime broadcasts in 2016, didn't they......

Bungou Stray Dogs is an ability-based battle manga set in a near-future Yokohama! Each character bears the name of a literary master who was active in Japan or overseas in the past, and they can unleash supernatural abilities named after famous books! Those with abilities use their respective powers to try and protect their precious comrades and their own territories, such as the Mafia, the Detective Agency, and the police...... but......?

March 2026, the ”First Part” concluded in its 13th year of serialization.
Following a long hiatus,
the story will then move on to the Second Part......

Actually, Bungou Stray Dogs concluded its First Part in March 2026! A major milestone was reached in the story so far, and after a long hiatus, the serialization of the Second Part will begin from April 2026 onwards......! While there’s no announcement on exactly when the hiatus will end, since the serialization of Part 2 has been firmly promised, I’m predicting it might resume around autumn of 2026!
