So, this time: Congratulations on the conclusion! It’s a bit sad, but that official spin-off manga has safely come to an end! Thank you so much for the approximately six months of serialization!

To recap, what kind of story is Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo? It’s set in Japan in the year 2086, 68 years after the conclusion of the main story. While the blood relatives of the main characters from the original Jujutsu Kaisen are active as sorcerers, aliens invade Earth!? It’s a story where sorcerers with mysterious powers make contact with aliens who possess similar mysterious powers...... (This is a brief synopsis based on officially released info that avoids spoilers.)

Sharing my personal impressions after finishing the final chapter—it really felt like a wonderful epilogue dedicated to the fans who were curious about what happened after the main story! I’m quite satisfied! It was great to see the descendants active as sorcerers, but I was especially happy to see the ’afterwards’ of the characters from the original series! Seeing the ’future’ presented by the official source felt so moving—thinking things like, ’Oh, so that’s how they ended up......!’ or ’I get it, he (or she) would age like that!’ or ’Wait, is that character...... already......’ While there have been many sequels in Jump history that depict a few years later, I realized again after the final chapter that it’s quite rare to write a story set over 50 years in the future!

Now, if Modulo were to be adapted into video, do you think it would be a TV anime? Or a movie? Personally, I’m rooting for a TV anime. It’s 25 chapters across 3 volumes, so I’d love to see it as a single-cour series! While I think the volume could fit into a movie (perhaps in two parts), I’d prefer to watch it at a steady pace with extra episodes, similar to the currently airing anime, rather than it being too rushed. Considering the serialization ended exactly after six months as planned, it feels like the author wrote exactly what was intended without leaving anything out...... but because the final chapter left such a beautiful lingering feeling, I truly hope it becomes an anime that doesn’t feel rushed! Since the current Jujutsu anime is full of additional elements, I want to see it depicted with that level of quality~!

The final volume is scheduled for release in May. Since it’s a world set after the end of the main story, I don’t think it will be adapted into video until the original Jujutsu Kaisen anime reaches its finale, but I’m already so excited!
