This time! ......The Fate series has way too many works! But they're so interesting you can't help but be curious about them. For those of you, I'll quickly explain this work, which will begin airing as an anime in January 2026!

It's a story where 'magicians fight each other until only one remains, staking the Holy Grail, an artifact that can grant any wish!' Participation is basically limited to those with experience using magic, and the magicians advance the phase by 'summoning the shadow of a historical great person (i.e., a Servant) and eliminating the opponent's Servant or the magician himself.'

In short, the magician and the Servant are partners, a unique existence fighting together to win the battle over the Holy Grail. Since the goal is just to be the last one standing, it's a fierce battle where cooperation, betrayal, and sneak attacks are rampant, but......

In this Fate/strange Fake, rules that should fundamentally not be broken—such as only allowing magicians as Masters and not being able to summon great people who cannot be categorized as shadows of Heroic Spirits—are shattered. The Holy Grail War begins under impossible circumstances, such as non-human (non-magician) entities becoming Masters and beings not recognized as Heroic Spirits being summoned as Servants. What happens when such an 'impossible' Holy Grail War begins? Fate/strange Fake is also a story that witnesses this!

Actually, Fate/strange Fake is based on a fan-fiction work that the author of Durarara!! wrote and published on a personal site on April Fool's Day, thinking, 'A Holy Grail War like this would be interesting......' However, the official—Nasu Kinoko-sensei—found it, declared it interesting, and said, 'You can continue writing it! Write it!!!' And just like that, it was formally adopted as an official work! The serialization began right away, and the anime broadcast will finally start in January 2026!

Fate/strange Fake, passionately drawn by the author of Durarara!! as a fan, is undeniably high-quality! It is an extremely hybrid work, incorporating elements from various TYPE-MOON works, all supervised by Nasu Kinoko-sensei, so anyone familiar with the Fate series should definitely check out the anime airing from January 2026!
