The setting of Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A is Lumiose City, which appeared in 'Pokémon X and Y'!
It is the second game in the Pokémon LEGENDS series,

The Pokémon LEGENDS series is a spin-off of the Pokémon series! It's a story about befriending Pokémon in a way different from traditional Pokémon battles and capture, and uncovering the secrets hidden in the region! The previous work was Pokémon Legends: Arceus, released in 2022, and there is no direct story connection, so I believe it's content that can be enjoyed even by those playing a Pokémon Legends game, or a Pokémon series game, for the first time!

At the same time, a battle called 'ZA Royale' is held nightly in Lumiose City, and it is said that the trainer who climbs to the highest rank is granted 'the right to fulfill any wish'......
