So there you have it! It's been announced that SAKAMOTO DAYS will be getting a live-action movie in 2026! When I first heard this news, I honestly thought it was an April Fool's joke...... but it seems to be a legitimate, official project, and it will really be released!

The release date has been set for Japan's long holiday, Golden Week (early May), in 2026!
The released trailer also shows a young Sakamoto fighting......!

The release date for this theatrical movie has been set for May 2026! And in the latest trailer, a young Sakamoto is shown fighting in a cool suit! He looks so cool...... What I'm curious about is how the current Sakamoto, who has quit being a hitman, will be portrayed! The lead actor is quite young and slim, so...... I highly doubt he'll also be playing the Sakamoto who quit being a hitman...... How will they cast the roles? I'm really looking forward to the follow-up reports!
