When you think of STUDIO GHIBLI, what works come to mind?

Speaking of Princess Mononoke, it's a representative work of Studio Ghibli, and abroad, it boasts a level of recognition comparable to Spirited Away, don't you think? The setting is Japan, in an age when 'mystery' was still alive. Ashitaka, the protagonist who defeated a boar cursed by a malevolent spirit, inherits the same curse himself.

It's the story of him leaving his home village to embark on a journey to break that curse. It was released in 1997, so this year marks its 18th year since release...... and fans are eagerly anticipating how it will be reborn in modern theaters!

There are many Ghibli works, but the aforementioned Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away were directed, written, and based on the original work by Hayao Miyazaki. You might have the image that Ghibli equals Hayao Miyazaki, but actually, the original author and director change depending on the work.
