【Chainsaw Man】Reze Arc Coming Soon! The Official Anime Sequel Hits Theaters on 9/19!

Reze Arc is coming soon to theaters!

The biggest reason this movie can’t be missed is that it’s not a side story or an original, but part of the main story! True, the episode itself is short and feels like an interlude, but it features an encounter that has a huge impact on Denji—so it’s definitely unmissable!

One rainy day, Denji meets a girl named Reze.
As feelings begin to bloom between them, what future awaits Denji and Reze......?

“Hey Denji, which do you prefer—the country mouse or the city mouse?”

The Reze Arc corresponds to Volumes 5 and 6 of the manga! Since Part 1 of the manga concludes with Volume 11, this arc falls right in the middle—a real turning point! The story gets longer and more serious after this, so for Denji, this is one of the few episodes where he truly gets to enjoy normal life.

The theme song and ending theme are handled by Yonezu Kenshi, who also did the anime’s opening!
For the ending, he performs a duet with Utada Hikaru, famous for the *Kingdom Hearts* theme!

The movie’s theme song is by Yonezu Kenshi, who also did the anime opening! He also handles the ending—but this time it’s a collaboration with Utada Hikaru, who sang the *Kingdom Hearts* theme! He said: *“While composing, I couldn’t imagine anyone but Utada Hikaru singing it, so I asked her.”}* From the preview you only hear piano and a brief hum, but it already sounds great...... The title is 【JANE DOE】—a name given to an unidentified woman, or to an unknown corpse. What could it mean......?

The runtime is currently unknown, with rumors of 115 minutes or 145 minutes! The 145-minute one includes stage greetings, so the actual movie might be 115–120 minutes. Definitely rewatch the anime up to the last episode before heading to theaters!
