In Japan, by 9/1 it had already smashed box office records, grossing 29,983,483,800 yen! And unbelievably, in the U.S., a record has already been set even before its release!?

So, in Japan, within 45 days from its 9/1 release date, it attracted 21,102,792 viewers (grossing 29,983,483,800 yen), setting one of the highest records in anime movie history. This has sparked even more buzz for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle”! After over a month of screenings in Japan, it’s finally been decided that the U.S. release will begin around 9/12~!

The highlight is the ultimate showdown! Demons and the Demon Slayer Corps face off in a life-or-death battle where no one can back down!

This “The Movie: Infinity Castle” truly deserves to be called the climax. The surviving demons and members of the Demon Slayer Corps are drawn into Muzan’s fortress, the Infinity Castle, where they must fight until either total annihilation or Muzan’s defeat......! Characters like Douma and Kaigaku, who appeared only briefly in the anime, are summoned for this final battle, facing off against their strongest rivals—Shinobu and Zenitsu.

The most epic battle depicted is the fight against Akaza. Why did Akaza become such a powerful demon? The secret behind his strength is revealed alongside his tragic past......

The highlight of this movie is definitely the battle against Akaza! The quality of the action scenes in the other fights is high as well, but the Tanjirou & Giyuu vs. Akaza battle stands out above the rest! Personally, I think it also has the most emotional moments. Though Akaza is the powerful, hated demon who killed Rengoku, this film reveals why he became such a fearsome demon—his story is depicted deeply and tragically.
